Intercessory Prayer

I explore the necessity and value of intercessory prayer in the life of a Christian. As challenging as the Book of Job is to fully fathom, God’s instruction to Job on behalf of his friends needs no explanation — God expected him to offer intercessory prayer for his friends/enemies. Christ being the supreme example in all things ‘ever lives’ to make intercession on our behalf (Heb. 7:25). We are, of course to follow that example.

Leif is a manager of one of the divisions of his 100 year-old, family-owned business in which he works with his four brothers. Leif was ordained in 1976 and served congregations in the Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Calgary, Alberta areas. Since 1977 he has worked with congregations in central Minnesota. Most importantly, he has been married nearly 37 years to his wife Kathy. They are the proud parents of two married children and grandparents of two.
