If we are going to become the children of God, then it's incumbent upon us to learn to pray for others. Following the example of Jesus Christ, who interceded for us when we were the enemies of God--and who still intercedes for us when we sin and place ourselves in opposition to God--we too must master the art of intercessory prayer.
