As Christians our goal is eternal life in the Kingdom of God and the only way to this goal is through Jesus Christ. We are flesh and blood and Jesus was born flesh and blood like us. Like Christ we have to be changed, born again, through a resurrection from the physical to a spirit being since only spirit can inherit the Kingdom of God.
