For some the story of Jonah is just a "Whale of a Tale"--a legend from antiquity. This sermon shows why the story of Jonah is relevant today by contrasting Acting on the Mind of Man vs. Acting on the Word of the Lord. One encourages cowardice, seems easy, but brings consequence. The other requires courage, is difficult, but brings results. Finally, it explores the paradox between the Mercy of God vs. the Mind of Man to bring new meaning to this story of old.
