El Dorado was a promised land of treasure waiting to be discovered by the Spanish conquistadores. They put all of their efforts, manpower and resources into finding El Dorado, but their dreams never came to fruition. Jesus Christ told a parable about a hidden treasure that has great significance for us today in Matthew:13:44. This hidden treasure is the knowledge of the Kingdom of God. Are we going after the treasure of the knowledge of the Kingdom of God with all of our heart, mind, and soul? Is it precious to you?
