In this sermon we will discuss the various uses of nomos (law) in the New Testament, and what really happened with the law when the sacrifice of Christ occurred. We’ll talk about how we can distinguish God’s eternal spiritual law, from other types of laws when we read seemingly conflicting New Testament scriptures.
Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children. He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
