Leadership: It's timeless. It's transforming. It can produce both tragedy and triumph. It's about today; about tomorrow, and in the meantime. It's about today because it touches us in a personal, direct and tangible way. It does not matter if you're young or old or in-between, because it still affects you. It's about tomorrow because its example provides a compelling vision of the future that stands in stark contrast of what we see in today's examples around us. It is about in the meantime because therein lies both opportunity and meaning for those of us on the journey until tomorrow can become today.
