Let Patience Have It's Perfect Work

Have you ever been in a hurry to get somewhere and every light you hit is red?  Or need just 1 thing in the grocery store and every checkout lane is full of full carts and the express lanes have a huge line?  Happens to all of us.  Why does God want us to learn patience and what can we can by learning to have this important spiritual characteristic?
