The Lifeblood of a Christian

Prayer is as the lifeblood of a Christian, and yet it is something that we are not born knowing how to do.  The disciples even requested of Jesus in Luke 11:1, ‘Lord, teach us to pray’, implying that they did not know how to pray or felt there was room for improvement.  If we fall into those categories, then we can benefit from biblical instructions and examples of prayer as we study this important subject.

Scott McKeon serves as pastor for the Phoenix Northwest and Northern Arizona congregations of the United Church of God.  He resides in Cave Creek, AZ with his wife Carrie and three young adult children.  He attended Ambassador University, where he obtained a Bachelors in Business Administration, and University of Arizona, where he obtained an MBA. In Scott's career he has helped companies design and implement their IT infrastructure as a technology service provider.  His hobbies include reading, swimming, cycling, and occasionally a little game of water polo.
