Israel’s march out of Egypt is synonymous with our own march towards our promised land. Our journey into the Kingdom of God is to exemplify Christ with our own life of sacrifice, strengthened by the armor of God as we subdue the ways of our old self, having full confidence in Jesus’ intercession on our behalf, knowing that with God all things are possible.

Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.  He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
