Men and Women in Church

In this Bible study Mr. Smith continues looking at the last part of I Timothy 2. There are verses in this section that many women find controversial. Mr. Smith begins by showing that Paul is addressing the behaviour of BOTH men and women by what he says in verse 8. He then looks at the verses many women find controversial by applying Bible study principles we need to follow on many passages. If we apply modern day word meanings to a passage we can conclude that the passage has a meaning that was never intended by its author. He shows us how to properly arrive at the correct meaning of a passage by looking at Hebrew and Greek word meanings and by looking at different translations for the passage.
