The story of Israel leaving Egypt, is not just the story of our God freeing His people from slavery. It is also the story of God revealing Himself, through His mighty hand and outstretched arm, not only to Pharaoh, but to the people of Egypt, to Israel, and to all the world. Ultimately all will know that there is a God in heaven, filled with power and glory, Who rules over all.
