Though abolished over 150 years ago, the scars of slavery are still present today in American culture. While formal slavery isn't around, many informal variations lurk beneath the surface of our society. As Christians, do we see the slavery around us? ...and do we engage in the practice of slavery?

Nathan Ekama

Nathan Ekama grew up in Ohio and completed his undergraduate studies at Kent State University. He has a background in Sociology, Family Dynamics, and Statistical Analysis. Before being hired into the full-time ministry in 2015 he worked in the Energy Efficiency industry and prior to that, taught in university and primary education. Nathan currently serves as a Pastor in Central Illinois and Terre Haute, Indiana. Nathan and his wife, Jacqueline, have three children.
