In The Name of Jesus Christ, Cliché’, Tag line, or Hallowed

We all have heard words and phrases that worn out, overused to the point they don’t carry much meaning, or they may be words that we quickly add to the end of a slogan. For example, someone says Lay’s potato chips, and you finish with, “I bet you can’t eat just one!” Have you ever heard the following statements? Don't cry over spilled milk When life gives you lemons, make lemonade Laughter is the best medicine These are examples of cliché’s or taglines. There is a similar phrase we use and has it become a Cliché’ or tagline, not carrying the value it should have? That phrase is “In the Name of Jesus Christ.”

God brought me to his truth in 1982 through a Good News Magazine entitled: How Do You Handle Conflict. Kathy, my wife, and I have celebrated 33 years of marriage. We have two sons, Kody and Caleb.
