Residents of countries develop certain ways of thinking about that country. Each of us processes our experiences and opinions in our own way; our conclusions are our own. In the United States, we dispute over the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Are residency and citizenship equivalent? Do we appropriately value the citizenship that has been conferred upon us?
David has been a math teacher for 30 years in Arizona and New Mexico. He and Laura have been married 33 years, and have two adult sons and one daughter-in-law. David was ordained into the ministry in 2011. He currently serves as the pastor for the Albuquerque, NM, congregation of the United Church of God.
