Patiently Running With the Footmen

We must be developing the Godly character trait of patience in our lives now so that we can be ready for the huge difficulties to come later. Patience is vital for us to have or we won’t make it into God’s kingdom. We have to learn to run with the footmen now so we can contend with the horses later.

Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.  He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
