Paul's Prison Epistles: For Them and Us

The writings done by the apostle Paul while in prison are full of encouragement and instruction. It's interesting to consider the circumstances in which he was living when he stated that he was content with his circumstances and full of joy. So often we have much better surroundings and focus on what is wrong rather than what is right. These letters contain much guidance on how to live this Christian life and what our focus ultimately should be.

Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.  He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
