Jesus Christ brought a revolutionary message about the nature of God and of His plan for mankind – indeed this message is central to His purpose. Jesus Christ came to reveal the Father. This implies what He was about to reveal about God was new and radically different. While Christ acknowledges that God is one, He clearly allows for two persons – at this point one was on the earth and one in heaven. The question then is not whether God is one, rather how God is one.
