Unlike Smyrna, Pergamos has some spiritual work to do. Their house is compared to Balaam and later the Nicolaitans. There are references to Satan’s throne and an admonishment to shape up or face the sword of His mouth. In this sermon we examine the congregation at Pergamos to ensure that we are not buying our desires.
