I wanted to cover a subject that I had planned on giving before the feast, but we ran short of time. It is one that I've been asked about many times. I have given a sermon two or three times in different places. The last time was September 10, 2016, so it's been about five years since I've touched on this subject. It's something that I do, and it is the place of safety as we have been asked about that. Many times since we went through false prophets, since we went through all this, I thought I would just cover this. Because people have questions. It's been maligned and misused and abused and speculated to death. I've heard everything in my 40-something years. Exactly how we were going to get there, exactly where it was going to be, exactly the time, and exactly who was going to be handling everything. Well, everybody's handling things. They're dead. The time passed when it was supposed to have happened. I just decided quite a few years ago to do something, and let's just go to the Bible. Let's see what the Bible says. Let's take you as a journey through there so that you can show other people. I will give a couple other things here today. I'm looking forward because we have another Bible study in about three weeks, so I'll be giving you something on that in the coming weeks, because that's going to be more interactive. Hopefully we'll have an interactive sermon, I mean Bible study today. So let's go, if you will, with me to the only place in the Bible that is truly referenced as is called a place of safety. That is what the title of a sermon is. Now, before we do this, let me do something, because there's such speculation on where it's going to be. Is it going to be all in one place?
And that's what I grew up in. They were teaching me it was all going to be in one place, and it had to be in this one place. Where did that come from? Well, it came from National Geographic, and one woman telling her husband she thinks that's where it was, and then this thing developed, and then one minister took it over here, one minister took it over here, and then they added these scriptures and this scripture. So I'm going to give you all those scriptures today to see where you want to go. And I don't really get into that much speculation. I like to stick with what the Bible says, because we've had issues, and I actually talked to two ministers who were back in who were actually new people in the 1970s that loaded stuff up across Europe and traveled with a van all the way to this place where it was supposed to be where they were not allowed to come in. I've known ministers who have actually talked about Petri's shoes, and where people would buy an open-end ticket, and they would have all this stuff, and what year is supposed to be. People were actually told the exact dates, and you know, is that really what God wants us to dwell on? I don't think so. Now, should we have knowledge of it? I think so. That's why I'm giving this message. But should it be something that we're all just like, you know, you got your Petri shoes on, Mary?
No, I just, I want to, I know people who died in the faith believing it was going to be the next year, that we were all going to flee. And I just, I feel for them, because they believed up until that date, they died. And so, let's look at the scriptures. That's where I want to take us today, because I want to go to this main chapter here. And so I'd like to do one thing first before we start reading in chapter 12 of Revelation, is this chapter has so many chapters in Revelation, and I do want to do a series. It'll take us about four sermons in Bible studies to go through the entire book of Revelation. And I want to do that later on, once we get a little more down the road, because I want you guys to be well versed in Revelation, and be able to explain it to anybody. I feel like I can, and there's not much in there I can't explain or understand, and it's not that complicated once we break this thing down. But because Revelation is full of so much symbolism, symbolism, imagery, I want to give you now before we start what not my speculation, not my conjecture, but most theologians, whether you read our literature, whether you read biblical commentaries, or anything else, of what most people can pick up the symbolism here. And so I want to do that first, so that way you kind of have in mind, so you're not reading this going. What did that talk about?
So let's look at first, there is the personage of and the mentioning of a woman.
That woman, as most of you said, either references the church, the Old Testament church, or the people of God. That's the typical explanation by, I would say, everything I've read, 90-95% of every commentator, whether they believe what we believe or not. I mean, it's just this, it's easy to match this up. So that kind of equals the church and the people of God. The sun, as it mentions there, is very definitively described as Jacob. Jacob. You might even go back to Joseph's visions when he had it, and you kind of see how that related and the symbolism there. The moon equals Jacob's wives. And the 12 stars are the 12 sons of Jacob. The child, everyone will know, is mentioned as Christ.
The dragon, no surprise, it's Satan. Come in, yeah, make yourself at home. Come on in. We're just getting started here, so glad to have you. The three and a half years that's mentioned here, or times, times, and half of times, equals the 1260 days. If you take three and a half years, it's 1260 days. So that's the time that's referenced here. And also a day for a year, that's 1260 years, which a lot of commentators will start at 325 and go to 1585. Okay? So I lay that out for everybody there so they can understand. Now, I would like to go, if will, I'd like you to go to Revelation 12 and come on in, have a seat. We're going to read, I'm going to read, and I think I'll probably do the whole thing. I don't know if you did the whole thing, did you, Jeff, or did you just do 12? You did the whole thing? 12 to 21. I go all the way to 17. 12 to 17. Okay. All right. Then before we go with what Jeff has there in 12, let's read, and we can see the symbolism here. Revelation 12 verse 1. Now, a great sign, I'm reading from the New King James Version. Now, a great sign appeared in heaven. A woman, remember I just gave you the symbolism here, a woman with a clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and on her head was a garland of 12 stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. Literally also talking about Mary as we see that there's a duality in a lot of these scriptures when it's referencing. And another sign appeared in heaven, behold, a great fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on his head, which represents the coming ruling empires that have existed but also will exist at the end time. And who's behind all those? It's Lucifer, Satan. In 4, his tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her. And if you look at your most translations, child is capitalized, right? The sea meaning Christ. So that's pretty understanding there because he did want to destroy Christ before he was born. Many of you remember that. You can read that in your Bibles. And then you want to go to Matthew. What do you want to go to Luke? And she bore a male child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. Has that been done yet?
Nope. Nope. Christ didn't come back yet. And she bore a male child who will rule all nations with a rod of iron. Well, he will eventually, his second coming. And her child was caught up to God and to his throne. I think we understand that. That doesn't take a lot of understanding or the special knowledge to understand that. And then we go to verse 6. Then the woman, the church, they're all, fled into the wilderness where she has a place prepared by God that they should feed her for 1,260 days or three and a half years. And that is most historians will reference that from around 325 at Council of Nicaea and so forth like this to 1585 when they began to come back onto the scene. So let's go to verse 7. And war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and the angels fought. But they did not prevail nor was there a place found for them in heaven any longer. Now, did that happen in the past when he was cast down to earth? And we read about it in Isaiah 14, Ezekiel 28. Or is it a time that's going to happen in the future because it does reference. Said, so the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the devil and Satan who deceives the whole world. He was cast to the earth and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now salvation and strength and the kingdom of God and the power of his Christ have come. For the accuser of our brethren, that should be us, who accused them before our God day and night has been cast down, referencing scriptures that he accuses us now. So is the cast down yet? Or is it something that we shall see and we're going to know because they said they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, meaning what? We believe in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That's how we're able to be forgiven of our sins and by the word of their testimony, which means we believe it, and they did not love their lives to the death, meaning they're willing to die for this truth.
Whether you want to read Fox's book of martyrs, whether you want to read the life and death of the saints, or these books I haven't read, you see by the thousands who died for what they believed in. And this is what they were willing to do.
I haven't known anybody in my lifetime who were killed because of what they believed. Yet. Yet. And so we have been blessed at this time and in the last 100 or so years that we have not had to be called out or be killed because of what we believe. Now there are people in other countries, especially in Arab countries, that that is a real threat. And I have talked to people and I have that had to move or had to stay quiet or we've even had members that had to make big decisions about going forward because of the persecution. Right now we're still having the same thing in Haiti that we have that I appreciate your prayers for as our church there is kind of laying low. They're only meeting on the Sabbath day because if they meet, which they normally do a couple of times during the wave, the Bible says they meet at night, they become a target. And it is because not necessarily because of their religion per se, but they are known for their religious beliefs. It is because they are tied to an American church.
A American church that backs them, an American church that has helped feed them. And so their pastor, Deacon, he serves as their pastor, is in Lake City right now with his family that we had to move out because of the kidnapping. Right now they're still holding 17 hostages in Haiti. 16 of those Americans, one of them Canadian, I believe, and one was a child. Five were under five years of age. They're still holding them for one million dollars apiece. That is a serious situation because they were sent over there from American churches to help orphanages, to help people in need.
And so that is a very serious, serious problem. And so I do not want our Deacon or our leader to go back there until things are better. He's wanting to go back, but just because they know we would pay. And so people that he knows that live next to him were caught as part of some of the kidnappers. And so right next to our church. And so it's a very serious situation. And so we need to be praying for those people.
Right now those people in Haiti that attend the church every week, they don't have anything. They don't have any money. They don't have anything. They're very poor. But our Deacon does. And so by being tied to us, they've already destroyed one of our church vans by pummeling it with rocks and totally destroyed it because all they want is to take something. So is that the persecution? No, but it is a type of where you would like to think that people would respect religion.
Even in this country in the seventeen eighteen hundreds, people did respect those, even though they may not obey God. They expected those who did. So I digress there just a little bit, but just ask for your prayers for all those people because I've baptized many. And I know quite a few and Mary does from her trips and and so forth. And we care deeply for those people. But I can't go back because I would be the only white man in the airport as I've been in the past. And white means green to them. And even if I sent Jonathan over there because he's black, but he would he talks like an American and he dresses like an American and he even looks like an American compared to Haitian.
So it's just something that we have to we're going to have to deal with going forward. But we appreciate your prayers. Let's go down to 12. 12. Is this where you start? Okay. Yes. Therefore, rejoice, heaven and you who dwell on them, woe to the inhabitants of the earth and to the sea for the devil has come down to you, having great wrath because he knows he has a short time. Is this futuristic? Most think it is because we have not seen the fifth seal.
Of course, is tribulation. The time of tribulation is at fifth seal. We cannot be we're kind of on the edge of it because after that, according to revelation, is the heavenly signs. So when tribulation starts, I think that's the next step. Is this something that we should all be worried about? Huddled down and going, Oh, what's going to happen? I don't think so. But do are there pastors and ministers all across America stressing this? Yes. Most of them are asking for more money or something else that you want.
We don't want your money. And I think I'm I think we're very clear on that. We don't take up an offering here. We don't do that. And we leave that between you and God. So let's go down into 13. Now, when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the who? The church, the people of God, who gave birth to the male child. We all came from that male child.
We believe that Christ is ahead of the church. Am I correct? Hopefully you do. And that's part of this situation. So we are from that very body. Verse 14. But the woman of the church was given two wings of a great eagle.
You might remember for people who want to say, oh, you mean we're all going to get on an American Airlines plane? You know, are they going to fly somewhere? You must remember the same words were used with the children of Israel, and they walked for 38 and a half years.
Given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness to her place where she is nourished for a times, times, and half a time.
From the presence of the serpent. So there is a place that, in the future, that will preserve, as it says here, to save the people from being killed by the serpent. And verse 15 said, So the serpent spewed water, and as most theologians said, that water represents an army, represents military, represents enforcement. So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened up its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. So this is symbolism, and it leaves a lot to be unveiled. It leaves a lot for us to see what's going on down the road. Some people can just tell you everything about this. I'm not about to do that because I want to stick with the scriptures because we have yet to see a lot of stuff yet to come. Some people say, oh, this has been fulfilled. Right, Jeff? There's ministers out there, and he knew one personally that had this all figured out, and we're right there. And matter of fact, there's ministers here predicting in the next what? weeks or did you miss one date, and there are a few weeks it's coming here. Ever since I've become a pastor, I get things for people send me stuff on time or email saying, oh, this guy said this. This guy said this. I said, okay, but what does the Bible say? Because man can say anything he wants, but we have to stick to scripture. This is the thing that guides us, this thing that preserves us, and God will take care of us. That's the thing. But let's look at this verse 17. And so the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring. So not everybody is preserved, obviously, because another verse that says, who are they that are counted as those who have the testimony of Jesus Christ and keep the commandments of God. And that's exactly who these people are. And he went to make war with the rest of her offspring who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Well, that's me. That's mine. That's what I strive. Now, should we be worried? Wait a minute. I want to be in that first group. I want to be there. You know, I want to be protected. I want to do this. The Scriptures tell us he who seeks to save his life will lose it. Those who are willing to lose their life will save it. Remember who said that? I think so. I think so. And how many of his disciples lost their lives? All except one. And he even said there would be one of you that would. And even Peter got upset about that, knowing Peter. And he Christ said, what's it to you, Peter? If I say this man's not going to. But I think most people, a lot of religions use this to scare people. I think these verses are here to reinforce that we're doing the right thing. And that we need to follow God. And so being you have heard speculation. You can see it on YouTube. You can see it on the Internet. I spent, oh, wow, probably six hours this week going through YouTube, looking at all the in time and who was saying this and who was saying that and so forth, just because I wanted to be updated because I knew what I'd heard in the past. But I knew that I didn't preach this stuff the way other people preach it. I don't put fear in the people because God said, what? You do not have a spirit of fear, but of love.
And sound mind. And we need some sound minds when it comes to scripture, because I've known guys that all they wanted to do was go to Revelation, talk of Revelation, talk of Revelation. I said, well, yeah, I did that for two or three months. I spent in there, and after that I kind of got it. It's like it's time to move on. It's there for us. It's a revelation of Jesus Christ to John who then lays it out for us. He didn't understand everything, and he wasn't supposed to understand. He couldn't understand. If we went back and took his place 2,000 years ago on the island of Patmos, we'd go, okay, you want me to dig rocks with what? Here's a stick. Here's a shovel. Well, that doesn't look like a shovel. Well, that's a shovel you're going to get. So it was hard for him to understand as he looked forward into the coming years, into 2,000 years or so down the road. But what I want to do today, the time I have left, wow, to get on this, is I want to go to, because that's all that's said about a place of safety. That's it. That's it. I mean, there's no other reference in the entire Bible but this. And so that's what it says. So we don't fully understand it. We know the symbolism, and we know it's going to happen. Do we know when? No. Do we know where? No. Do we know how it's all going to come about? Not really. We know kind of the outline through the rest of the book of Revelation about the beast and the beast and the false prophet and all this, which I explained earlier in other sermons. So I want to take you on a quick journey through the scriptures that's been used. There are the other scriptures been used for saying there is this place of safety that the Church of God is going to go to.
And some have said it's the only place of safety. Well, let's look at it. Let's go back to the first scripture. If we can, let's go to the minor prophets in Zephaniah. Not Zechariah, but Zephaniah.
Get back to Zephaniah. Zephaniah 2. This is a scripture that's been used. I want to cover. So now you've got all the scriptures. You can do this study. You can pray over this. You can do the study. You can see, okay, is this... Wow, do I understand this. Okay? Zephaniah 2 and verse 3. It says, seek the Lord all you meek of the earth who have upheld his justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger. It may be. You need to repent. He didn't say, oh, if you do this, you're never going to have any problems. I kind of got baptized 40 years ago, and all of a sudden, my problems weren't supposed to disappear. I wasn't supposed to have any trials. I wouldn't have any tests. You know, this is going to be easy street now. Well, that didn't happen. And so here, we don't know what are you prepared. God said he would never test us beyond what we could stand.
And you know, he hasn't... I can say he hasn't tested me beyond what I could stand. Now, I didn't know at the time I thought he was jumping the shark on me, but I had some tests, had some trials. I had some issues and problems, but I handled them, and he was right there with us all the way, and most of you have had that, too. So this is one of the scriptures, but also it goes over to chapter 1, chapter 1 of Zephaniah. Chapter 1 and verse 7 is, be silent in the presence of the Lord, for the day of the Lord is at hand. And we know what the day of the Lord is. We talked about that before. That's the time before he returns, just before he returns, and it will be a tribulation. For the Lord has prepared a sacrifice. He has invited his guests. Okay, that's another verse that they use. And then verse 14, in the great day of the Lord, for the great day of the Lord is near, it is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the Lord is bitter. The mighty men shall cry out during that day. That is the day of wrath. Okay, so they put all this together, take these verses from Zephaniah, and say, okay, well, we should be hit when the day of the Lord comes. So let's go over to Luke, Luke 21. You will? Luke 21? Luke 21 and verse 34. And this is scriptures from Matthew 24 also relate to this. But in verse 34 of chapter 21, it says, But take heed to yourselves, or watch yourselves, as you might say that, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and the day, day of the Lord, come upon you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the earth. So it's going to come when they don't expect it, when the whole world doesn't expect it. And it says, all. So verse 36 says, watch, watch. And it's interesting that watch is from the Greek word, which means all the time, all the time, constantly. And so it's kind of like not only watching the world events, but watching ourselves.
Where we are. Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man. What does that tell you? You may. You may be counted worthy. It doesn't mean that, okay, okay, I go to church, I have the blood of Jesus Christ cover my sins, I have faith, I'm under grace, I'm in there. No, it says, pray, that you may be counted worthy.
Does that worry you guys?
It should give you some concern if your Bible study isn't where it needs to be. It should give you some concern if your relationship with God, if you're like, oh yeah, let's see, Zephaniah, it's in there somewhere. This is a warning because Christ is talking about the end times. They say, well, what's going to happen? How's it going to be? And this is what He says. And so Luke is writing this down from people, watch therefore and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass. It's coming to pass. It's going to happen. It's going to happen. But if you're watching yourself, if you have a relationship with God, should you really be worried? No, I don't think so.
You know, Christ even told the disciples, well, guess what? He knew what was going to happen to them. And He said, well, don't worry about what you're going to say when they take you up before the kings, before they take you up before judges, because I'll put it in your mouth.
So He's telling them not to worry. And yet, even John, according to different theologians, even John had to stand before the magistrates, the kings. And they found Him guilty, and according to one source, they said, well, you're, you need to die. You know, you're the last one standing. Everybody else has been martyred, except John. So they took Him out and wanted to boil Him in oil in front of a whole bunch of people, put Him down, let it all happen. So they dumped Him in this boiling, hot boiling oil. Guess what? He came up spitting oil and guess what?
And it scared, scared the emperor so much that he said, put Him, put Him away. Don't have it here. Put Him on the island of Patmos. So John did worry, neither did anyone else. But we're not, we're not apostles, but we are disciples. So I just don't see the worry here.
Because some of those guys who died and were martyred, being all of them were martyred except for John, they didn't, in my eyes, they didn't deserve it. I deserve it. I deserve it a lot more than them because they did a great work. I'm still trying to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling. And so that's how I look at these verses. I don't look at them as something to fear. Let's go on and catch Revelation 3. Revelation 3, as you well know, Revelation 3 verse 10. Talking to the Church of Philadelphia's angel, Church of Philadelphia says, Because you have kept my command to persevere, which means enduring to the end, I also will keep you from the hour of trial, which shall come upon the whole world to test those who dwell on the earth. Persevere means to endure, to persist, to hold on, even pursue something. And everybody says, well, I'm the Philadelphia Church because he didn't say anything bad about the Church. I've never heard anybody go, oh, we're the Church of Laodicea. We're the lukewarm. We want to be spewed out of God's mouth. No, we all want to be Philadelphia's because then, boy, he's going to keep us from the hour of trial.
Let's go look at a verse in Daniel. If you will, go back to the book of Daniel. This one is used many times by people predicting they know where the place of safety is going to be because Daniel in chapter 11 and all the way down into verse 40 talks about when the king of the north and the king of the south, which we know is right at the end time, and verse 40, at the time of the end, the king of the south shall attack him and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, which area is horsemen, and with many ships, and they shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. He shall also enter the glorious land, which is Jerusalem, which is Israel, and many countries shall be overthrown, but these shall escape from his hand, Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon, which is the country of Jordan. So everybody said, okay, then they're not going to be taken down, so the place of safety must be in Jordan. Now, I've heard many actually say because he warns those in Jerusalem that you should flee the city, as he says in Zechariah, which we have over another time, and tells people when to flee and that they should flee, and that this would be a place for them to go to just before the armies and fate. But do we know? No. That's a verse. Okay? But people have used it to say, well, wait a minute, that's got to be the place. So is there one place? Go with me to Mark. Go with me to Mark. There's two verses here.
And I've heard all the other things about this, but in Mark 13. Mark 13.
Let's go down to verse 24. It says, But in those days after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened. The tribulation was a fifth seal, and the sun will be dark and moon will not give his light, and the stars fall from the heaven, powers will be shaken, and that's a sixth seal, and then we have the seventh. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. What happens to seven seals? Right? Seven seals become the seventh trumpets.
Then verse 27. And then he, he will send his angels and gather together his elect from one place, Petra and Jordan. Is that what it says?
I'm just reading what it said, because I always had this question, I even had a minister tell me one time, 40 years, 30 years ago, oh, it doesn't mean that. It means dead people.
It just means the dead people. They'll bring the dead people together. Well, that's not in the context of ways, because he's talking about this thing. Gathered together his elect from the four winds from the farthest part of the earth to the farthest part of the heavens. So all over this entire world, those angels will gather people together. Will there be a place of safety? Well, it said it. We read it in Revelation. We know there's place, but there's, could there be multiple places of safety? Because I heard one day, oh yeah, there's multiple. Well, this shows these people are not dead. Not all of them are dead, but they're also going to be preserved, because he's going to send the angels to the four winds from one end of the planet to the other. Let's go to Matthew 24. Matthew 24. So I'm giving you these for your learning here. Matthew 24 and verse 31. 24 and verse 31.
And he, Christ, will send his angels with the sound of a great trumpet, the seventh trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other. His elect, those who are alive, those who are dead will be resurrected first, as 1 Thessalonians 4 says, and 1 Corinthians 15. They will be raised first, and then we who are alive will be changed in a moment of twinkling eye, and we will meet him in the air. This is that point.
And so there's going to be people from all over this. So does it show there's just one place of safety? I don't see it. There is a place of safety. Of course, God can protect you anywhere you're at. In the grave, you're in a place of safety. But if God wants to seal you or preserve you, he has no problem doing it wherever, whatever. Are people going to have to go through things? Oh, yes. Yes, there are people. But if you look at the example and you follow the history of church, which I have, those who have to pay the ultimate price, those who, you know, have been martyred are usually, you have some at the in the first century apostolic church, where guess what, Bill? It's the leaders. Guess what, Jonathan? Guess what, Jeff? Those are the ones who usually have to pay the price because where much is given, much is required. So I look at that and say, okay, I could see that happening. But for most people, I think God's not going to put us through something we cannot. We cannot stand. He is going, well, I want to see them fail. No, God's whole idea is to see people succeed and to be in his kingdom. Whatever it takes, he's going, if you're wanting and you obey him, he's going to do everything he can for that. So let me go to two other scriptures before I end this because I realize I'm running out of time. Isaiah, because I'll be happy to answer this later for anything. I know I'm in a rush today. It's been that way ever since this morning. So Isaiah 33 and verse 16, verse used, verse 16, he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be a fortress of rocks. You got a picture of rocks. Bread will be given to him and his water will be sure. That is one of the scriptures they have used many times for the place of safety.
Okay. I ask that you, because it's talking about impending judgment on Zion, I ask that you read the entire chapter and get a feel for that. Now let's go back to Isaiah 16. Isaiah 16, Isaiah 16, Isaiah 16 and verse 4.
Isaiah 16 verse 8, Let my outcast dwell with you, O Moab.
Jordan, Be a shelter to them from the face of the spoiler, for the extortioner is at an end. Devastation ceases. The oppressors are consumed out of the land. In the mercy, the throne will be established and one who will sit on it is in truth. So these are the scriptures that are given. They are only scriptures. I've given you everything that everybody uses. Okay. Because I want you to read. I mean, that's what this is all about. It's not just me standing telling you what's going to happen. It's you reading the scriptures and praying to God and talking about it and come to an understanding. That's why you're given the Holy Spirit. It's to use it. But I want to leave you with two scriptures as we end here. I said they were going to be the last two, but I saw these two. I guess I gave these to you, Jeff. I don't think. Deuteronomy, do you have that one? Okay. That's because I came up with it late. Didn't get it to you. Deuteronomy 31. Deuteronomy 31. Deuteronomy 31 and verse 6. And I'll read from the New King James Version. That's not helping. I'm in Deuteronomy 30, 31, and verse 6. This is a message to us. Now, I've given you about the and we can have a Bible study on this later if you want to discuss this because a lot of people like to discuss what they heard. I have no problem doing that at another time after you've studied these, but I want you to read what God has given. Now, this is Deuteronomy, and we'll do this after on the Bible. Say we'll have. But Deuteronomy 31, verse 6 says, Be strong and of good courage. Do not fear, nor be afraid of them. For the Lord your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of good courage. For you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to your fathers to give you, and you shall cause them to inherit it. And the Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Do not fear, nor be dismayed. Pretty good advice for us in these days of COVID, in the days of tribulation, in the days when the stars fall from the skies, when the moon becomes like blood, all these things. This is instructions for us. And one more. Let's go. Hebrews 13. Hebrews 13. Hebrews 13. Verse 5. Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For he himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you, so that we may boldly say, and we should say it, the Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me? So, use my time, David, of this, and then we'll have a short break, and then come back for the Bible study, and then we will have some food. Is that good with you? All right.
