This message examines what we need to understand regarding the power of death in scripture, looking at the relationship between sin & death. Christ has the ultimate power over death. We are each joined to Christ in the likeness of His death, through our symbolic death at baptism. Death will not exist for eternity. God, through His wonderful plan of salvation for humanity brings His faithful in this life through death first. Later, He gives all who never had a chance to know God a chance at life. Finally, He eliminates all death through the Second Death, allowing all His faithful to share eternal life with Him.
