In the Presence of God

God wants to dwell with His people. The record of scripture shows that when the people of God honored and obeyed Him, His presence was with them. Conversely, disobedience resulted in God's presence being removed. His presence is an incredible blessing and privilege we must not take for granted. We should glorify God with our lives and strive to live in such a way that God's presence is with us.

Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.  He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
