Prophecy, Patience and Perfection

Luke 21:19 Jesus Christ, when asked by His disciples what were the signs of the end of the age and His return, gave them generalized answers.  But, in the midst of the explanation He gave them a very specific instruction, "By your patience possess your souls." He showed that, more important than knowing exactly when the Kingdom will come, is the wisdom of having godly patience so that you will not be distracted from the truth of God by every wind of doctrine and can endure to the end.    Related Reading: Tools for Spiritual Growth Articles on Patience

David Horvath

David is originally from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree from Ambassador College in 1989. After living five years in the Birmingham, Alabama area, he and his family moved to the Nashville area in 1995 where he and his wife Regina, also an Ambassador College graduate, run a custom home design-build business. David enjoys trail bike riding, weight training, and being a spectator at his three daughters’ volleyball games and track and field meets.
