The origins of New Year celebrations have a wild history filled with pagan roots and debauchery. Even the tradition of New Year's resolutions can be traced back to pagan and mystical origins. Baptism however, represents a life-long commitment that we made to God to overcome our sins and become more like His mentality. How are we doing with this personal commitment to change our human mindset?
