Satan

The title today is, Satan the God of this World, in whom the God of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the glorious light of the gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. As we know from scripture, as a scripture we shall read later, that Satan is deceiving the whole world, and basically the whole world is deceived.

And here we said, having been called into God's marvelous light, today our purpose is to increase awareness of Satan's strategies, and how to overcome him and the forces of evil, and to be aware of some of the more subtle and deceitful messages, some subliminal. Subliminal means below the level of awareness, but you say, well, if they're below the level of awareness, what difference does it make? So there's an argument in psychology with regard to do so subliminal messages have any effect on you, only if they are admitted to into the conscious mind, and that's another subject. Satan desires to destroy you.

There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion raving in the prey.

We have people who say there are no conspiracies. They make fun of conspiracies.

Say, what are you? Some kind of conspiracy nut? Do you think that Satan does everything out in the open? Do you think that the leaders of this world who are planning nefarious things, who are power-hungry and greedy, that they openly tell the world of what they're planning?

Of course not. There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion raving in the prey. They have devoured souls. How many young men and women have died in warfare during the past hundred years? Millions. They have taken the treasure in precious things.

Yet here we are. We say we're the richest country in the world, so blessed with natural resources.

We are surrounded by water, Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Pacific Ocean, numerous streams and rivers, and so blessed with so many different things. But yet our national debt is unbelievable, and we owe virtually every country in the world.

They have taken the treasure in precious things. They have made her many widows in the midst thereof. Of course, you make widows, in widow wars, when you send men and women off to war and they're killed, or when you teach that you can get a divorce for just any old reason, or you don't even have to be married. So the warning in the New Testament is, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, is a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour. And Satan certainly wants to devour you. I don't know if you've seen the movie The Matrix.

I saw the thing. I tried to follow it. Basically what I got out of it was that they are planning a new Zion and a new Jerusalem, and the forces of evil and the forces of good are in a great battle. Of course, we know that. In The Matrix, the components of Satan's Matrix, economics, a falsified science of economics and fraudulent monetary system, the banks get bailed out, the great corporations get bailed out, but you don't. They're going to foreclose on your home. Mass media ownership and control of main channels of access to the public mind, politics, financial control and manipulation of party politics, internal policy, undermining of private enterprise capitalism, foreign policy, financial and technical support for Marxist regimes, hostility toward all forms of nationalism and anti-communism, culture, subversion of culture, literature, art, music, etc., undermining of culture of all institutions and traditions such as church, family, nation, patriotism, etc., science, falsification of science, especially anthropology and psychology. Oh, the anthropologists are digging over in Africa, and they have found this skeleton. It must be at least a million years old.

History, falsification and suppression of true history, agitation, incitement, and support of internal revolt, religion, massive financial support for aberrant trends which have the effect of secularizing and politicizing religion. In the center, the center, an illegitimate money power drawing its main strength from usury, from interest. Even the government itself borrows money into circulation from the Federal Reserve. Indeed, we live in a Babylonian type system.

Satan is deceiving the whole world.

Revelation 12.9, in the great dragon, an old serpent called the devil, which deceives the whole world who was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. As we shall see in the succeeding verses, there is at the end of this age, as we will read in the next three or four verses, from Revelation 12, that there comes a time at the end of this age when Satan goes about with great wrath, seeking whom he may destroy. And I heard a loud voice saying, in heaven, now has come salvation and strength in the kingdom of our God. This is Revelation 12.10. And the power of his Christ for the accuser, and the accuser is probably better translated as slanderer, the slanderer of our brethren is cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night. So if you are doing the devil's work, going around as a busybody, not making peace as you heard in the sermonette, of course you're one of Satan's agents. And as you heard in the sermonette, God has called us to be peacemakers, because the peacemakers shall be called the children of God. How did they overcome him? They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, trusting, believing, having faith in Jesus Christ and God the Father.

And how are those sins forgiven? They're still going before the throne of grace crying out to God, repenting of your sins, and asking God for forgiveness. They overcame him by the blood By the word of their testimony, the Apostle Paul writes in Romans 1, verses 17-18, along in there, I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation. Paul said that he had not neglected to declare the whole counsel of God.

He didn't leave anything out. He was not afraid to boldly proclaim the word of truth. Therefore, rejoice, you heavens, and you that dwell in them. Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea, for the devil has come down unto you having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.

There was a time in which it seemed that God had placed a hedgerow around the United States of America, like in Isaiah 5, where he talks about that he had placed a hedgerow around about Israel. Israel was his vineyard, and he would prune it, take care of it, and keep it. Beginning somewhere around the 1940s, World War II, and especially after Korea and Vietnam and all of that, we had the hippie movement to arise, the Beatles, the drugs.

We became a drug-drenched society, saturated with the occult and with the machinations of the devil. And it seems since basically the 1960s, the hedgerow has just gotten less and less, and there's no longer a wall around Israel. The devil has come down and you having great wrath.

It's a demon activity at the end of the age. It's prophesied by the Apostle Paul in this prison epistle to Timothy. Now, the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter time, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, being seduced. And generally, seduction has an element of deception within it. Paul writes in Hebrews 3 that sin is deceitful. In Genesis chapter 3, when the serpent came into the garden and he seduced Adam and Eve through deception. Sensing spirits, doctrines of devils, speaking lies and hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron. What that means when you have your conscience seared with a hot iron, that means that you become amoral, that you can no longer discern the difference between right and wrong, that there is no pain of conscience of breaking the Sabbath or doing several other things that the Bible commands by the power of God that should not be done.

Forbidding to marry. There's more and more. We see the condition of the family fabric in this nation being ripped apart, and for that matter the Western world, but especially in the United States with the advent of cohabitation before marriage. In addition to that, the homosexual lesbian movement that continues to make inroads with now the chief leader of the land and his vice president endorsing it.

Forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from meats. Of course, now the next thing will be, of course, is already this to some degree is to save all the trees and plants. So I don't know what you're going to eat. You can't eat animals. You can't eat plants. I guess we'll eat sand. Then you won't have teeth very long. Which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. All deceived except those whose names are written in the Book of Life. It doesn't matter how intelligent you are, rich you are, how much silver and gold that you have, or what your position, station, and life is.

When that kind comes in which the beast power, the false prophet, and the one world religion is set up, everyone whose names are not written according to the Bible in the Lamb's Book of Life will be deceived. For there shall arise false Christ and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders into much that if it were possible the very elect would be deceived. Because God, through His Spirit and the love of the truth, protects the minds of those who have God's Spirit and who love the truth so that they are not sent grand delusion that they should believe the lie.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship Him whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, deceived by miracles. The apostle Paul warns us that the Antichrist and false prophet will deceive the peoples of the world through miracles. The beast and false prophet will feign the return of Christ. The beast claims to be God. In 2 Thessalonians 2, verses 3 and 4, Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first.

And that man of sin, the son of perdition, be revealed, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he as God, since in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. And what is the main way that he tries to prove that he is God? It is through signs, miracles, and wonders, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs, and lying wonders.

So a miracle in and of itself does not mean it is necessarily of God, and deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast which had the wound by his sword and did live.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. So it is a life and death matter. Have you heard of Megashift? It just happened on the same day that Dr. Baker and Mrs. Pyle sent me the write-up about Megashift. One write-up was from amazon.com and the other was from World News Daily. I think it's WorldNet Daily. Megashift is the title of a bold new book by James Rutz, an author, advertiser, thinker, and spokesman for, note this, the worldwide church community.

Seems people like that name worldwide. In the book, he chronicles the growth and activities of the church that he claims as sweeping the world. In chapter one, which is titled, The Kingdom Explosion, I think I've heard of a church that's doing the Kingdom of God seminars.

That's good, I guess. The Kingdom Explosion chronicles exciting miracles and church growth. The inside flap states, brace yourself for a total makeover of planet earth. The world is changing hands for the last time. It is not a mere shift in power, but a total transformation in how things happen. For these churches that he's talking about are house churches where the community comes together in someone's home and they share, quote, the gospel in that way and in that venue and that setting. And claims made by Megashift, many claims are made.

For example, he says that there are now almost a billion people who have been converted to Christianity through this movement with 120 million in China and other parts of Southeast Asia. And it is sweeping the world. He says that basically the war against Iraq in 2003, that's when it started, of course, we've had Afghanistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan continues to this day. Thousands have died and the bloodshed continues and there's war and rumors of war just about on every front that you can possibly name.

He says that in this church, people are being raised from the dead and they have documented cases for it. Now, I don't know if that's true or not, but you understand that if you begin to have signs and miracles by a group claiming that it is of God, people can easily be deceived. So the seeds are being sown.

And as I've told you before, the major religions of the world are looking for a great Redeemer Savior to come on the scene and save the world's people. The Buddhists are looking for the fifth Buddha. The Hindus are looking for a Christian. The Islamic world is looking for the Grand Mahdi. The Jews are looking for the Messiah. The Christian world is looking for the return of Jesus Christ.

The New Agers are looking for Maitreya, their God. And they claim that Maitreya has already come. He's just not yet revealed himself. So miracles are no proof that it is of God. A movement like Megashev, if you would like to call it this, can be the platform for the emergence of a one-world religion. Of course, it's not going to be house churches then, I can assure you.

The Apostle John warns, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets are going out into the world. Hereby know you, the Spirit of God, every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is coming in the flesh is of God. That verse there, the last words I've just read, has been highly discussed over the years by theologians. The word there of come in the flesh is in the progressive sense with an effect on today.

So it could be read in both ways that obviously you have to confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and died for the sins of the world in order for your sins to be forgiven, and that he has an effect today. Remember Romans 5.10, which says that having been justified by his death, we shall be saved by his life. Or Galatians 2.20 that says that I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Jesus Christ who loved me and gave himself for me.

So we had special music here a couple of weeks ago, men saying, abide with me. John 14.23 talks about Jesus Christ says that we will both, God the Father and Jesus Christ, make our abode, our dwelling place in you through the Holy Spirit. So Jesus Christ coming in the flesh, he has come, and he is living in you if you have gone through the process of repentance, faith in the sacrifice of Christ, baptism laying out of hands.

And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is coming in the flesh is not of God. And this is that spirit of Antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come, and even now already it is in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you, coming now with an effect on you, living in you, greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

God's warning, there shall not be found among you anyone that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire. Now, you would think that a nation like Israel was freed from Egypt, who wandered 40 years in the wilderness. God supernaturally fed them, reigning manna from heaven. Quail was sent to them. The shoes didn't wear out. He provided water out of the rock, and on and on it goes. As they wandered in the wilderness, then they came into the land and possessed the land, and all of these things they saw, and yet they went a whoring after the gods of the pagans.

Eventually, to the point that they did sacrifice sons and daughters to the false gods. That's Israelites who did that. You shall not make your son or daughter pass through the fire, or that uses divination, claiming that you have some kind of supernatural power to tell the future, or anything that has to do with the supernatural that is beyond the human realm, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits.

Oh, you can conjure up the spirits if you want to play with the things that have to do with the spirit world. You can have your ouija boards. You can have your seance. You can invite the spirits in. You can take psychedelic drugs. You can lose your mind.

Satan will come in. The demons will come in. Or a wizard or a necromancer. Necromancer is the one who communicates with the dead. We have this guy who goes around. I think his name is Arthur or something like that. On television everywhere. And people who and all. And they communicate with so-called their relatives. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the eternally, because these abominations, the larger God does drive them out from before you. Satan's symbols are prominently displayed in public places that you wouldn't believe.

This horned devil decorates a wall in the Great Hall. Mormon temples and churches often use occult symbology in their architecture. This sunstone from the original Mormon temple, the original Mormon temple, they first made their headquarters in Illinois, Joseph Smith, and then they eventually, because of so much persecution and resistance, they pushed their way westward and wound up in Utah where they basically controlled the state. Devils love to be placed within the keystones of arch windows. This one resides at Columbus and West, 88th Street, New York City.

Inside the fiery sun of this large Zodiac clock on Bracken House in London is the face of a dark man. Turns out to be Winston Churchill. Luciferian symbols of the 2012 Olympics. I would encourage you, if you don't know anything about this, you could just put in Olympics Occult or Occult Olympics 2012 and numerous websites will come up and you'll see the symbology that was used in both the opening and closing ceremony of the Olympics, of which we'll talk some about that right now.

There's a writer named Henry Macau. I've read writings of Henry Macau for several years. Of course, like with any columnist or op-ed kind of writer, you don't agree with everything he said. The blasphemous opening song, Jerusalem, which states that England is the new throne of God. I have this Jerusalem that they sang as a poem by William Blake. William Blake was born in London on November 28, 1757. His parents had six children. From early childhood, Blake spoke of having visions at age four.

He saw God put his head to the window. Around age nine, while walking through the countryside, he saw a tree filled with angels. Although his parents tried to discourage him from, quote, lying, they did observe that he was different from his peers and did not force him to attend conventional school. He learned to read and write at home. At age 10, Blake expressed a wish to become a painter, so his parents sent him to a drawing school. Two years later, he began to write poetry. Here is that poem by Blake. And did those feet in ancient time walk upon England's mountains green, and was the holy Lamb of God on England's pleasant pasture seen? Well, that is referring to the myth or the legend that Jesus Christ, during his earthly lifetime and Joseph of Armathea, did visit England.

And did those feet in ancient time walk upon England's mountains green, and was the holy Lamb of God on England's pleasant pasture seen? And did the countenance divine shine forth upon our clouded hills, and was Jerusalem built here among those dark satanic mills? So the legend goes on that the new Jerusalem, the new Zion, will be built in England. Bring me my bow of burning gold, bring me my arrows of desire, bring me my spear, O clouds unfold, bring me my chariot of fire.

I will not cease from mental fight, nor shall my sword sleep in my hand, till we have built Jerusalem in England's green and pleasant land. So the myth goes that Christ returns to England. I doubt that. It's not according to the Bible. He's not. In this blasphemous song, Britain was portrayed as the center of the New World occult order, the Zion, that was displayed as the Olympic logo.

I've read that poem by Blake. Here is the 2012 Olympic logo. London, the new Zion, as in the Matrix. There was a great furor over this. They paid about $650,000 to have this logo designed. The argument ensued whether this says 2012, if you read it cross horizontal, you can make a 20 out of that, and a 12.

However, there's a dot in the middle. So if you read it vertically, you have zi, with a dot, o in, zion. There was a furor in the Middle East about this, in which some of them even threatened to withdraw from the Olympics because of using zion. And you know, zionism and the Islamic world, especially Iran, saying they're going to wipe Israel off the map. There are many subliminal messages within it, since an image can say a thousand words. For instance, the most obvious and important message is found after figuring out that there is a dot in the middle of the logo, while numbers such as 2012 obviously don't have dots.

So by rearranging the symbols on the logo, now as letters, we get the word zion, which some say represents the New World Order they're trying to establish. In Beijing, 2008, four years earlier, the Olympics were held there, a motto was, One World, One Dream, making a direct reference to the One World government they're dreaming to establish the New World Order, also known as zion.

This copies and mocks Scripture. In Psalm 15, verse 2, out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined. Therefore, thus says the eternal God, Behold, I lay in Zion, or a foundation, a stone. Zion is another name for Jerusalem, and Jerusalem is the place where God placed His presence.

It is where God is going to set His government. You can read Isaiah 2.4, which says that the nations are going to beat their swords and the plowshares, and that they are going to go up to Jerusalem, and out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the nations of the world will be taught the way of God.

Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation, and that is Jesus Christ, who is the head of the corner, as in 1 Peter 2, verses 6, 7, 8, 9. A sure foundation, he that believes, shall not make haste.

Zion continued. Psalm 87, verses 1-3. A psalm or song for the sons of Korah, his foundation is in the holy mountains. The eternal loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. The wariest things are spoken of you, O City of God. Why? Because, and of Zion it shall be said, this and that man was born in her, and the highest himself shall establish her.

The eternal shall count when he writes up the people that this man was born there. Where? It was born Zion. Zion symbolizes the Church of God.

And we have absolute proof of that in Hebrews 12, verses 22 and 23. But you are come unto Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the first born.

So to mock and to claim Zion out of the biblical context, I'm quite sure is a great offense unto God, which are written in heaven unto God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect. In the opening ceremony, you saw a boat of slaves with Lucifer. The black wings in the middle, Annie Lennox's boat of the slaves with Lucifer was perhaps the creepiest part of the closing ceremony. Glastonbury Tor. Have you heard of Glastonbury Tor? It's also called the Isle of Avalon.

According to the myth, Avalon was once an island. It was surrounded by water, and some say in the myth that it was perhaps the remnants of what they call Atlantis, the myth that it was buried under the sea.

The centerpiece of the whole stage was a hill with a tree on top, which was to represent Glastonbury Tor. I saw a little clip on YouTube about Glastonbury Tor. This guy talked about the myth there. It is one of the so-called one of the great hot energy spots of the world where the spirits converge, and great energy emanates from Glastonbury Tor. People from all over the world come there to meditate, to get in tune with the spirits, especially those who are of the occult.

It's supposed to represent Glastonbury Tor, a hill full of occult meanings, such as being the grave of King Arthur, and the place where the Holy Grail is hidden.

Holy Grail used the last, where Jesus Christ instituted the New Covenant Passover. They call it the Last Supper. The tree also offers the interpretation as a forbidden tree of knowledge and the sacred tree of the Druids. Also pictured was a dead baby.

Worship, the sign of a new Messiah, was going to arise. The closing ceremony, Macal writes, if the opening ceremony presented us with several dark symbols from occult Britain, the closing ceremony foreshadowed what their New World Order will be and who will rule over it.

These three men, Fred Mercury, George Michael, and David Bowie, Macal says that they are homosexuals. I don't know. The New World Order will be androgynous. That means neither male nor female and or homosexual. The Bible says, but as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. The Phoenix Bird in flames. The Phoenix Bird rises out of the flames, representing resurrection. To what? According to the Egyptian Satanic mysteries, the Phoenix Bird lives for hundreds of years. I read one article, it said 100 years, and read another article, it said 500 years, and then deliberately kills itself. Its body immediately catches fire and is burned to a heap of ashes, and immediately a New Phoenix Bird arises out of the ashes to live again. The Phoenix Bird is the symbol of the devil. The Phoenix destroys itself in flames and then rises from the ashes. Most occultists believe that the Phoenix is the symbol of Lucifer, who was cast down in flames and who they think will one day rise triumphantly. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. The occult meaning of the Phoenix Bird.

The Phoenix Bird lives in a nest of frankincense. Of course, this is myth, but it's symbolic.

In Matthew 2, verses 11 and 12, three wise men, Magi, brought Jesus, Mur, and frankincense.

I'm not sure it says three or wise men, but anyhow, each of these substances was a distinct meaning in the ministry of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The frankincense indicates Christ's priestly intercession for mankind, according to the Defenders Bible.

And when we pray, the incense of our prayers waft up before the throne of God, as sweet, older incense to him, as in Revelation 8, verse 3-4, along in there.

Therefore, to say that the Phoenix Bird lives in a nest containing frankincense, portrays a Messiah-type ministry for mankind and one that involves spiritual intercession.

The Phoenix Bird also has Mur in his nest. Mur indicates Christ's coming death for all mankind, so people can be justified before God the Father on the basis of Jesus's sacrificial death on the stake.

Once again, we see that the Phoenix Bird legend carries another Messianic-type ministry of false one, to be sure.

Mur is a powerful, bitter gum and perfume and antiseptic. It is used for embalming, or was used then. In Matthew 26-7, there came unto him a woman having an alabaster box, a very precious ointment, and poured it on his head. So you really don't, as we think of ointment, you would not pour out an ointment. So this might have been Mur, as we shall see, because it was poured out on his head.

And when some of the disciples saw this happening, they protested, Oh, wasting this, it could have been sold for so much money and given to the poor.

Jesus Christ said, you have the poor with you all the time.

Jesus Christ rebuked them and said, for in that she had poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. Matthew 26-12. Then after he was crucified in the tomb, there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night and brought a mixture of myrrh and a loath about a hundred pound weight, and they were used for embalming.

The occult meaning continued. We see that after his death, the Phoenix bird arises to live anew.

Thus, the Phoenix portrays a third messianic-type ministry in that it grows again.

Therefore, this legend parallels Jesus' true life and ministry in three critically important areas of his spiritual intercession, his death for all mankind, and in his resurrection.

Messianic parallel is the reason the leaders of the New World Order seized upon the Phoenix bird as one of their symbols of the coming New World Order of Antichrist.

Now, the 2016 Olympics are going to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Macau writes here, The next Olympics will be held in Rio de Janeiro. Instead of Christ the Redeemer displayed, what was displayed was the Brazilian singer dressed as Yemangia.

Yemangia is the pagan voodoo goddess of the sea, also known as Leviathan.

Satan is said that every country is ruled by a lieutenant of Lucifer and his element, which we shall read from the Bible. There is a powerful demon spirit over the nations.

And Brazil is ruled by water and Leviathan. Therefore, displayed was the torch being passed to the demonic overlord of Brazil, the coming Olympics.

Demonic princes assigned to the nations. This is Daniel 10, verse 12.

Then he said unto me, Gabriel, the messenger angels, comes to answer Daniel's prayer to interpret his vision. Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I am come for your words. Then it says that he was withstood by a prince, and it delayed him for several days.

Then said, He know you that wherefore I come unto you, and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia. And when I am gone forth, below the prince of Grisha shall come, which was Alexander the Great. Of course, Persia had several different rulers, starting with Cyrus and on down to the time of when Alexander the Great conquered the Persian Empire. Leviathan identified. In Job 41 verse 1, can you draw out Leviathan with a hook or his tongue with a cord which you let down?

Then continuing through Job 41 on down the whole chapter is devoted to describing what Leviathan is like. In the next slide we'll see his true identity. We see more here. In that day the Lord with his sower and great and strong sword shall punish Leviathan, the piercing serpent, even Leviathan, that crooked serpent, and shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Then Leviathan identified continued. This is the conclusion of Job 41, where he is identified.

Upon earth there is not his like who is made without fear. He beholds all high things. He is a king over all the children of pride. So Leviathan is Satan the devil.

Satan is a tyrant. In Isaiah 14, you shall take up this proverb against the king of Babylon and say, how has the oppressor ceased? The golden city. Now in your margin you might notice golden city reads exactress of gold. Basically all the gold has been taken away from the people, the common man. It is now housed in government vaults around the world. The United States has more gold than any other nation. Some might read and say it's China, but I just saw a documentary and it may be wrong. They lie. But anyhow, showing the gold. The gold is not in Fort Knox. There are some there, but most of us in New York. The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked and the scepter of the rulers. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke. He that ruled the nations in anger is persecuted in non-hinders.

Of course, God is going to bring him down.

Satan offered the kingdoms of this world to Jesus Christ. You remember the temptations.

Turn these stones into bread.

Jump off the temple to written his angels will bear you up. Then he took him up on the high mouth and showed him the kingdoms of the world. He said, these kingdoms I will give you if you will bow down and worship me, showing that he had that power. Then said Jesus unto him, get you hence, Satan. For it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve. Then the devil leaves him and behold angels came and ministered unto him. You can flee from the devil. You can rebuke devil in the name of Jesus Christ. And through the power of the Spirit and the Word of God, you can be set free. Satan can take you captive.

If you don't have on the whole armor and shield of faith, he can take you captive.

We've already talked about playing with things that have to do with conjuring up evil spirits.

And there are many such things. Much of the music that is listened to in today's world is demonic.

Music is one of the chief ways whereby you can pervert a culture.

The United States culture was turned upside down, and it began in the 50s, and it continues until this day. And we have, I heard Paul Ryan, who is Romney's choice vice president and running mate, that his favorite music group was one of the rockers. I forget the name, but I couldn't stand to listen to it in 15 seconds.

Ryan is 42 years old, and of course, this started way back in the 50s.

And they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. If you don't have up that shield of faith, the armor of God, he can take you captive. He can deceive you. He can seduce you.

He can turn you inside out. But Jesus Christ sets us free.

For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also, that is Christ himself, took part in the same that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil, and delivered them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. See, the only way that you can truly be set free. Jesus Christ said, you shall know the truth. Truth shall set you free.

That's John 8.32. He said in another place, if the Son then set you free, you shall be free indeed. And it is through the marvelous light of the Gospel, believing God and Jesus Christ, repenting, exercising faith, being baptized, receiving the laying out of hands, that you can be totally free. You can be free from fear or superstition, ignorance, the dogmas of man. And no matter where man may put you, he'd put you in the darkest dungeon.

Or put you in chains. You can still be free of mind and spirit.

Jesus led captivity captive, but unto every one of us is given grace, divine favor, carous, according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore, he says, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive. Jesus Christ triumphed over Satan the devil. Jesus Christ said in the Gospel, Be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. We read already today, greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world and gave gifts unto men. The great spiritual battle, the great spiritual battle, is spiritual. Obviously, if it's a spiritual battle.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of his might.

But on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand in the evil day and having done all to stand. Now the next verse, I think we'll read it in just a moment, says, Stand therefore. That's the way it should be punctuated. Notice here where it says, We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Satan has a goal. Satan has a plan. Now the leaders of the world, they have certain plans, but Satan can influence these leaders and does influence these leaders.

And eventually Satan is going to be able to realize his goal of being worshipped for a season. And all the world wondered after the beast and worshipped him, everyone whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

So open your Bible. You look at Ephesians 6, verse 14. Ephesians 6, verse 14.

Stand therefore, wherefore take heed unto you the whole arm of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand, stand, put a period there.

Therefore, having your loins gird about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, Psalm 119-172, all your commandments are righteous. We want to attain unto the righteousness of God through Christ, and keeping of the commandments is part of that.

Your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. You're ready, willing, to take the gospel to the world. Above all, take the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Why is that so? Because if you have that shield of faith, and you know and know that you know that no matter what kind of spear, spear S-P-E-A-R, what kind of weapon of warfare that Satan fires toward you. Of course, he tries to lodge it in your mind. But if you have the shield of faith, you'll be able to ward it off. You'll be able to thwart it. You'll be able to cast it to the ground, because you know that God will deliver you. And take the helmet of salvation. Now, in 1 Thessalonians 5.10, the helmet of salvation is defined as hope. Take the helmet of salvation. In common language, that means that the big picture of what your reward is going to be in the kingdom of God.

Keep that burning brightly in your mind and in your heart.

The helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Brethren, it's very easy to read these verses. We have read them many times.

You're familiar with these verses, but the full content and import and impact of these verses are we really there? And do we really understand all that it's saying here?

We have given a brief overview today of some of the seductive, deceitful kinds of things that are prevalent in our society.

And the only way that any of us are going to be able to stand is to love the truth. Now we go back to Galatians, I mean, 1 Thessalonians. No, I really mean 2 Thessalonians. 2 Thessalonians.

2 Thessalonians chapter 2. We left off there at verse 9 when we talked about this one we'll see through lying wonders, signs, and miracles.

We read about, talked about, a church that says that they have almost a billion adherents, a worldwide community church, they call it, that is spreading throughout the world. They say like wildfire. And virtually it will be a mega shift and it is like they are going to usher in the millennium. But we know that that won't be the case.

It will be only through the power and might of God and Christ.

And these prophecies that we have talked about today will come to pass. And one will eventually sip, claiming that he is God. And will deceive everyone whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life through the miracles. Verse 10, 2 Thessalonians 2.10.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved. For this cause, because they didn't really love the truth so they could be saved. For this cause, shall God send them strong delusion?

So God allows them to be deceived.

And they shall believe the lie. There's no indefinite article in Greek. What is the lie?

That the one sitting in the temple saying that he is God, they believe it and they worship him.

That they might be damned, who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Now let's go to 2 Corinthians chapter 10. 2 Corinthians chapter 10. This takes up on what we read from Ephesians chapter 6 of the whole armor of God.

1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 1. 2 Now I, Paul, myself, beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am based among you.

Apparently Paul had a very weak kind of physical appearance.

2 But being absent and bold toward you, but I beseech you that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some.

3 Which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.

This battle will not be won by guns or roses.

It will be won through the spirit, might, and power of God.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.

Oh yes, men are going to fight and millions are going to die.

5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, not of the flesh, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

Now what the stronghold here is, those things that come on the mind, that grip the mind, the great enemies of faith, fear, doubt, human reasoning, and anxious care.

In order they are, anxious care feared out human reasoning.

They all feed off of each other. 6 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. 7 Casting down imaginations, those things that are contrary to the promises of God. 8 For God, who is promised, God who cannot lie, has promised that He would deliver. God has promised us eternal life in the kingdom of God. 9 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

10 Having in readiness to revenge all disobedience.

So when something comes up in your mind, I try to catch it, and I usually do in my mind immediately.

That's not right. That's not of God.

And you do a repentance right on the spot.

11 Having in readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

So God has made several promises, and He is going to deliver us.

The Apostle Paul writes, For your obedience has come abroad unto all men. I am glad, therefore, on your behalf.

But yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

So that's been our purpose here today.

It is through God that we will win the battle. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against evil spirits in high places.

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.
