The Seed of Woman and God

Our title today is The Seed of God and the Seed of Woman. The Seed of God and the Seed of Woman. The Mennonite Church, United States of America, just passed three startling resolutions. The Mennonite Church, as you may know, one of the most conservative churches in the United States. Long-standing church. We have some people in the Church of God now who grew up in the Mennonite Church, and they could tell you about it. In late May, the governing body of the Mennonite Church passed three resolutions committing to the LBGTQIA inclusion, including repealing previously placed rules banning pastors from officiating at same-sex marriages.

And according to the Christian reporter, May the 29th, during a special assembly in Kansas City, Missouri, the denomination passed a resolution stating that they have committed violence against LGBTIQ people, and now are committed to LGBTQ inclusion. Resolution passed with a vote of 55.7 percent.

The denomination also passed another resolution calling for repentance and transformation, repealing guidelines, and previously barred pastors from officiating at same-sex marriages. And according to the Christian reporter, nearly 83 percent of the delegates at an assembly voted to repeal the ban on the sanctioning of same-sex marriages. The resolution stated specifically excluding LGBTQIA people from the church as a rejection of God's joyous delight in the diversity of creation and denial of the divine image and breath animating all humankind.

The resolution went on. So most people are familiar with LGTBQ. LGTBQ stands for, but most are not familiar with the IA that is added on. IA means intersex person born with a combination of male and female biological traits, which is very rare. That would be a genetic mutation. Then the A stands for allies of the LGBTQIA community, who actively support their agenda, and it also can stand for asexual, a person who's not attracted to either sex, male or female. Meanwhile, in early June, Russia's lower house of parliament, the Duma, passed a law imposing heavy fines for providing information about homosexuality to people under 18 years of age.

Same-sex marriage was banned in April of 2021. Of course, that does not justify what Putin is doing in Ukraine at all. Of course, he said he's trying to free them, that is Ukraine, from homosexuals and Nazis. What does the Mennonite resolutions have to do with the seat of God and woman in Scripture? As we shall see, much in every way. The LGBTQ, if you want to add the IA agenda, strikes at the very heart and core of God's holy plan of salvation.

That plan is holy. Holy things have God's active presence in them. Sacred things point to a higher reality. We're seeing sacred hymns, but holy things have God's active presence in them. The plan of salvation is holy. We talk about the holy Sabbath, and God's presence is in the Sabbath, as in no other day. The scripture speaks of plant and animal seeds, which is short for their reproductive ability according to their kind. The two greatest laws of biology are that life begets life. No matter how they strive in the test tubes or whatever else, scientists have not been able to generate life from the beginning.

They can take a part of some animal or human and generate and do their thing, but to generate life from the beginning, they have not been able to do that. So life begets life, and kind begets kind. So today we're going to focus on the spiritual aspect of the seed of God and the seed of woman in Scripture. From scriptures that we expand in this sermon, you'll clearly see that the LGBTQ agenda strikes and strives to destroy God's plan of salvation, His holy plan, the only hope for humankind. I don't think that we are awake to this or as concerned about it as we should be, because this is the direction especially that the Western world is going.

Now, the Islamic world is not involved in that. Very few homosexuals ever come out of the Islamic world, and of course, Russia has passed the laws against homosexuality, material, and also same-sex marriages. And China, homosexuality is frowned on there. China has a great problem at the present time with regard to women who are eligible for marriage. They have 30 million more men eligible for marriage than they have women.

Because of their imposing a law not all that long ago, which went on. Well, there was probably 25 years ago, maybe 30, limiting a family to one person. And of course, most families wanted men, and so they destroyed. They killed the female babies. Now they passed the law in recent times saying that they could have two children. From the scriptures that we expound in this sermon, you'll clearly see how corrupt, how evil, how satanic the agenda is.

The learned theologian and the average church-going person would disagree with what we shall see from scripture today. Their principle problem is that they never understood the plan of salvation in the first place. No matter how intelligent they were, they may have an IQ of 160 plus.

They may have degrees from all of the Ivy League schools, but yet they do not understand God's great holy plan of salvation. They will preach, and they think in their minds, they preach Jesus and him crucified.

And to a certain degree, they do preach Jesus and him crucified. But Jesus and him crucified, if you know the whole story of being crucified, like in Romans 6, that we're crucified with Christ, we're buried under his death, and we're to be raised a new man to live a new life. But they cannot answer the great questions of life. They cannot answer in a dogmatic way, in a truthful way, in a proven way that God exists.

They do not know who God is, what God is, and what his purpose is. God is our creator. He is our Father. He is spirit, and his purpose, the greatest overriding purpose, it seems to me, of God is to bring sons and daughters to glory in the family of God. Then the corollary to that with regard to man is that man is created in the image of God.

Now, that has no small significance or meaning. It is one of the most important things that you could ever come to understand, that we are created in the image of God with faculties akin to God, but yet at the same time, there is a great gulf between our physical electrochemical existence and the great eternal God and living forever. But God is provided a way whereby that gulf can be bridged and we can inherit eternal life.

So, they can't answer the great questions of life. I watched the documentary recently. About three or four weeks ago, I bought a little device at Walmart, cost $30 Roku television. I wish I had known about Roku and what it could do. I'd heard of Roku for years. In that case, I guess, at least several years. That little device will allow you, free of charge of two or three of the channels, they have multiple channels you can pay for, but you just go on YouTube or you go on Pluto television and you can watch live telecast from India, from China, from Japan, from Germany, from the Arab world.

And of course, you can watch ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, all of that, which all they can talk about is how bad the Democrats or the Republicans are and what's going to happen in the next election.

But I watched this documentary on YouTube about sex and the Bible. In essence, they said that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were lovers and that David and Johnson, David and Jonathan, had a sexual relationship because scriptures state in 1 Samuel, no, 2 Samuel, 1, 26 and 2 Samuel 2, 1, 2, that David's love for Jonathan exceeded that for women. Let's look at that in 2 Samuel chapter 2. Well, first of all, 2 Samuel 1, 26.

Need to cut and paste. In 2 Samuel, now I'm in 1 Samuel.

I'm trying to get to 2 Samuel chapter 1 and verse 26. 2 Samuel 1, 26. I am distressed for you. Well, let's read into it from 25. How are you? How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle? Old Jonathan, you were slain in your high places.

I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan. Very pleasant have you been unto me. Your love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women. So therefore, they deduced from that that David and Jonathan had a homosexual relationship. Now we go to chapter 2, and it came to pass after this that David inquired of the Lord saying, shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah? And the Lord said unto him, go up. And David said, where shall I go up? And he said unto Hebron or Hebron. And David went up there, and his two wives, so you see David was a married man, and his two wives, a Hennom that just realized is an Abigail, the balds or navels wife, and Carmelite. So David was a married man. He had several wives, and God permitted it at that time. And of course, we know the story of David quite well. But listening to those so-called learning ones, various professors of theology from various colleges were interviewed, and they presented soundbites that showed they no more believed the Bible is true than a man in the moon. And there is no man in the moon, by the way.

And one of the so-called scholars they interviewed was Dr. James Tabor. James Tabor is a retired professor of religious studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is widely respected as an author and scholar. He taught theology at Ambassador College in Pasadena 1968-1970. You can look it up, James Tabor, T-A-B-O-R, and Wikipedia will give you a brief autobiography or biography of him. There are other biographies that do not include his tenure at Ambassador, but that one does. And of course, I remember his name quite well.

Apparently, he now no more understands the plan and purpose of God than a two-year-old would. Of course, a two-year-old doesn't understand the plan of God. The religious world reduces the gospel down to only believe or accept Jesus as your personal Savior. Let him come into your heart and you'll be saved. Now, there are some that I've listened to in various documentaries that come very close to the truth, but yet they believe in the Trinity, they believe in the immortality of man, they believe you go to heaven, and some even believe in the millennial reign, but after that go to heaven, and they believe in eternal burning hell fire. And they, no matter how brilliant they are, they just don't understand God is bringing sons and daughters to glory in his family. The religious world is in deep trouble. The whole world is in deep trouble. And basically, most people have forsaken religion because religion provides very few answers that are real. The plan and purpose of God is based on who God is. Now, let me say that again. The plan and purpose of God is based on who God is. So, who is God? There are qualities and characteristics of God. Equality has to do with his essential being, and a characteristic has describes him as all his various characteristics that he is merciful, he is forgiving, he is long suffering, compassion, and those kind of things. But when it comes to characteristics, those things that are essential to his essential being. So, what would you say? I would say that he is uncreated and eternal. See, without father, without mother, without the beginning or end of days, as it talks about in Hebrew 7, that God is eternal, and he is, of course, uncreated. Perhaps the second greatest quality, which is also a characteristic of God, is that God is love, and love is his state of being. And it is principally from these qualities and characteristics.

The God that they, these qualities and characteristics, prompted God to develop the plan of salvation in the first place, and to create humankind. Now, there are scriptures that talk about before the foundation of the world, and from the foundation of the world. So, because God is love and wants to share his eternal being with humankind in a family setting, he created humankind. No one teaches that. No one preaches that. We don't preach it nearly often enough. We don't understand it deeply enough.

So, because God is love and wants to share his eternal being with us in a family setting, he created us. Now, if the world could just understand that. But it's a great debate. Does God exist? Does he not exist? Well, basically the whole education system, the political system, the systems of man, and by the way, you know for sure, as it says in 2 Corinthians 4, 4, that Satan is the God of this present evil age. And Satan has a kingdom, and his kingdom is organized. A long time ago, I gave a sermon on this, with Daniel 9 and 10 showing that the Prince of Persia, the Prince of Grisha, while Daniel was fasting, he was seeking to understand the 70-year prophecy of Jeremiah in the book of Jeremiah. And as he fasted and prayed for 21 days, Gabriel tried to come to him, but he couldn't, because he was withstood by the Prince of Persia.

And then it talks about later that the Prince of Grisha will come. And of course, the great physical Prince did come as well, and that is Alexander the Great.

So it is through beguetal and birth, both in the physical realm and the spiritual realm, that we can become begotten and then born sons of God at the resurrection. Jesus Christ is the first born from the dead, as it says in Revelation 1.5. The significance of that scripture cannot be overstated or adequately exalted. Jesus Christ, the first born from the dead, Revelation 1.5. He is the forerunner of the process of beguetaling birth into the family of God. He's a forerunner. He went before us. He is our brother in the spiritual sense, yet he is our high priest. He is the father of the dead. He has been delegated authority over all things, with one exception, but he is the father. But I think we don't really understand that either, to the full extent that Jesus Christ is over all things. It says that clearly in John 13. The truth of the gospel is hidden from the great minds, even though they may understand Hebrew, Greek. It may provide some theological insight in certain areas.

Brilliant men, as the world looks at brilliant men, they can provide historical context and background. But no church, no religion apart from the Church of God understands that at the resurrection we shall become spirit beings on the same plane of existence as God and Jesus Christ. This is stated clearly in Romans 8-17. Let's read Romans 8-17.

In Romans 8-17, this is clearly stated, the first part is oftentimes read over or looked over. And if children then heirs of God, if you're an heir of anybody, or you inherit something that they are, or something that they have, as an heir of God we're going to inherit eternal life. We're going to inherit being in his family. And notice, in joint heirs, joint heirs, and Jesus Christ has already received his inheritance. He has been born of the spirit and now sits at the right hand of God making intercession for us. And joint heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be glorified together. I added that.

To be called and to understand God's great plan is sacred. Jesus explained to the disciples why he spoke in parables. God is not trying to save all of humanity at the present time, but he is trying to save you and me.

So let's look at Luke 10.24. This should be so sobering to us. Jesus said this to the disciples. We're going to read, starting in Luke 10.24.

Let's read 23 as well.

Well, some people get aggravated at that, but I at this, but let's go to 21.

In that hour, Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, from the wise and prudent, that you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes, even so, Father, for so it seemed good in your sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father. That's Jesus speaking. All things, as I've already noticed.

And no man knows who the Son is but the Father, and who the Father is but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see these things that you see. For I tell you, I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see these things which you see, and have not seen them. And you think of all the so-called great men, mythological creatures, and all of that that went before, and to hear these things which you hear and have not heard them.

You could be even illiterate and still understand the purpose and plan of God.

And as far as knowledge in the spiritual sense, it sets you apart, way apart, from the rest of the world. The plan and purpose of God requires that there be male and female. That is one of the main reasons for their existence, is to produce godly seed, godly offspring. So what is being sold to the general public at the present concerning the total woke movement? Is perhaps the greatest con job of all time? Who in the world would have ever thought?

I believe that well over 50 percent, I would say it's 60 to 70 percent, believe that same-sex marriage is all right. You know, at the Mennonite Church, one of the mainline, old-time conservative churches in the United States of America can okay same-sex marriage and create in the past the resolutions that they did. What does that mean for the rest of the general public? This LGBTQ is the principal fruit of Satan's kingdom. Satan is the god of this present evil age, as we've already noted from 2 Corinthians 4.4. But God created male and female for a great transcendental purpose of becoming literal, literal, not make-believe, not fanciful, but real in the spiritual realm, sons and daughters. God created male and female for a great transcendental purpose of becoming literal, born, first of all, begotten and then born, sons of God. How many times have we read Genesis 1.26, 1.27, that he created them male and female, created he them? And for this purpose, he ordained the second greatest institution on the face of the earth. The second greatest institution on the face of the earth is marriage and family. The first and greatest institution is the Church of God. So we go back now to Genesis 2.21, where this institution of marriage was ordained of God. It's not a man-made thing. It is a God-ordained, a God-ordained process that we go through in obeying him and producing godly offspring.

Genesis 1.22, and the rib which the Lord God had taken from man made he a woman and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone on my bones, flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave. Cleave has to deal with stick-like glue to his wife, and they shall be one flesh. Now you say, well, that's Old Testament stuff, but notice how Jesus Christ himself explains some of the things that went on in the Old Testament and also confirmed this passage of scripture here. If you will turn now to Matthew 19 and verse 3. Matthew 19 verse 3.

The Pharisees also came unto him, testing him, trying him, tempting him, saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? Apparently they were putting away their wives for basically anything from burning the beans to kicking the dog. I don't know what all it was, but for any cause. And he answered and said unto them, Have you not read that he which made them at the beginning, made them male and female? See, this is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, speaking. Now we read Genesis, we quoted Genesis 1.26.27. We read Genesis 2.22 and on about the creation of marriage and ordination of it. Have you not read that he which made them at the beginning, made them male and female? And for this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be one flesh. Wherefore there are no more twain but one flesh. What therefore God had joined together. God joined together male and female, not man, any man who seeks to do away with this relationship, is going against the very words and purpose and plan of God. There can be no compromise in this area.

When God has joined together, let no man put us under. They said unto him, Well, you say that, but what about this? So why did Moses then command them to give a writing of divorce and to put her away? He said unto them, Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to put away your wise, but from the beginning it was not so. I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except for Pornea, which has a wide range of applications, basically summarized by two words, sexual immorality, and shall marry another, commits adultery, and whosoever marries her, which is put away, commits adulteries. His cycle said unto him, and that is the case. If that is the case, it is not good to marry. So you're stuck with her. That's what a little bit of humor there to me. So marriage of male and female, pictures, relationship of Christ in the church, Christ as in the husband rolled to the church, just as males are in the husband roll in marriage. The church is in the female role in Christ's relationship to God and to the church. The church is referred to as the bride of Christ, also referred to as the wife of Christ. Spirit begotten believers and now a spouse to Christ. Look at 2 Corinthians chapter 1. 2 Corinthians, I said chapter 1. 2 Corinthians 11, verse 1. 2 Corinthians 11, 1. Would to God you would bear with me a little in my folly, and indeed bear with me, for I am jealous over you with godly jealousy, for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you a chaste virgin to Christ. There is no doubt what the scriptures say. The scriptures are as plain as they can be.

Spirit-born believers are going to marry Christ at the marriage supper of the Lamb. We look at Revelation 19. Revelation 19 verse 6.

So how long does marriage last in the spiritual realm? Well, it lasts to at least as long as the church until the church is married to Christ. In Revelation 19 in verse 6.

And I heard it as it were the voice of a great multitude in the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Hallelujah, praise God, for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife hath made herself ready. From Genesis to Revelation, the role of male and female remains.

Christ loved the church, he gave himself for it. And like manners, we love our wives as Christ loved the church and give ourselves for them in sacrificial love. After Adam and Eve sinned and God confronted them, he also prophesied of the great battle of the ages that is ensued from the Garden of Eden to the present time, and that is the battle of the two seeds, the seed of God and the seed of woman. First messianic prophecy, if you'll go to Genesis 3.15, this first of the messianic prophecies of which there are about 60 or more of God who's going to send the Messiah to save humanity from their sins. And I will put inventory between you, Satan, and the woman, Eve, and between your seed, Satan's seed, and her seed. Those two seeds, the way of Satan, his system, his kingdom, his organization, has battled the way of God from that day to the present. It shall bruise your head. Satan inspired the crucifixion of Christ, thinking that he would do away with the seed. But of course, after three days and three nights in the grave, he rose victorious over death. And you shall bruise his heel. So here we see the first messianic prophecy, and we see that it is through the seed of the woman that Satan will be defeated. You look at Romans 16 and verse 20. Romans 16 verse 20. Once again, I bring to your attention how beautifully the scriptures are woven together like a beautiful tapestry, a beautiful rug of many colors, yet making a distinct pattern and hole as you put all of the pieces together. In Romans 16 verse 20.

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. So men cannot get pregnant, contrary to what some of the... I can't believe the stupidity of some of these people who insist that a man can get pregnant. Even if they were pregnant, there's no place for the baby to be born. You might do a Caesarean C-section, but then you would have to recreate all kind of things that are present in the womb, the placenta, and all of that. The main thing I take away at this point from this, if there was no seed of a woman, Jesus Christ, to serve as our Savior, then there would be no hope for humanity. Yet these ignorant people insist on their agenda. As stated in Acts 4, 12, there is none other name given unto heaven, whereby men must be saved. Sadly, everyone who has ever been born a woman except Jesus has walked according to the seed of Satan, the devil. This is made plain for us. If you'll turn forward to Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 1, you'll see that we have all walked in that way. Ephesians chapter 2 verse 1, and you hath he quickened, hath he quickened, as in italics, not in the original, and you who were dead in trespasses and sins, where in times past you walked according, of course, of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air. Satan is the prince of the power of the air. The spirit, it is spiritual. You don't see it. See, time after time in Jesus Christ's ministry, it was a different society, it was a different culture. And time after time, the demons exposed themselves. People possessed with demons. I don't know how many times that people came to Jesus for him to cast out the demon, the wicked spirit. But today, it is couched in psychological terms and other terms. But Satan is the god of this present evil wage. He is the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience, among whom also we all had our conduct in times past in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and where by nature the children of wrath, even as others. You see, what a blessing, what a privilege, how sacred it is to be called out of that and to know who you really are, who God really is, and what his purpose really is. This godly seed is from the seed of David.

God's goal is for the seed of the woman to produce godly offspring. In order for this to come to fruition, one must be begotten by the incorruptible spiritual seed of God and the word of God, and then at the resurrection born into the family of God. Now let's look at 1 Peter chapter 1. 1 Peter chapter 1 will start in verse 17.

1 Peter 1.17, And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons, judges according to every man's work, it will matter who you are, what you've done in the sight of men, it will matter who you are and what you've done in the sight of God. 2. Pass the time of your sojourn here in fear, for as much as you know that you will not redeem with corruptible things as silver and gold from your vain conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, who verily was foreordained before the foundation of this world. So he was known beforehand before the foundation of the world. It was God and Christ that worked out the plan of salvation. They knew that the one called the word in the Old Testament was going to be willing to give up his position in the Godhead temporarily. He gave up his glory at that time, but not his eternity before the foundation of the world was manifest in these last times for you, who by him to believe in God that raised him up from the dead, and we talked about that briefly, and gave him glory that your faith and hope might be in God. Jesus Christ always pointed everyone to God the Father, yet Jesus Christ is over everything but the Father. Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren. Unfeigned means there are no ulterior motives. He did it to me. I'll do it for him. He didn't do it for me. I won't do it for him. And see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently. Being born again Now this word born here is aga-ganao. A-G-A-G-E-N-N-A-O. A-G-A, maybe it's two G's. A-G-A-G-E-N-N-A-O. Aga-ganao. It literally means again. So, ganao means it can have two meanings. If it is of the mother, it means to bring forth. If it is of the father, it means to beget. In this case, we have been begotten again. Not of corruptible seed. We have received the seed in the metaphoric sense of God the Father, the Holy Spirit, the very essence of God. But of incorruptible seed, I added seed there because of what proceeds, pre-seeds, not proceeds, but of incorruptible by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever. So, we have that seed abiding in us. Just as the Father forgets Jesus, He begets us. If this were not true, then we would not call God our Father and Jesus Christ our Elder Brother.

We are in the flesh. We are the physical offspring of God. I have said in recent sermons, I probably said this, I don't know, a dozen times in the past 10 years, but let's turn to John 1, verse 7, that there are sons of God by creation. Adam and Eve were sons and daughters of God by creation. But there is another way of becoming a son or daughter of God in the spiritual sense, and that is to be born of God. In John chapter 1, verse 7, the same came for a witness, speaking of Jesus Christ, to bear witness of the light, and all men through Him might believe. He was not that light, but was sent to bear witness of the light. That's John the Baptist, I think I said, Christ. That was the true light which lights every man that comes into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, so God the Father created all things through Christ, as it states earlier, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not.

But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God. How did they become the sons of God? Through begettle and birth, to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name, which were born not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, not born of woman, nor the will of man, but born of God, as we have clearly shown from the scriptures. Begettle precedes birth. Jesus was the only begotten Son of God. He was the first born from the dead by the resurrection. Now, notice in Romans 1, when He became not not just the begotten Son of God, but the Son of God. In Romans chapter 1, verse 3, concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh. Of course, the prophets that prophesied and David had been promised that one from His seed would be on the throne forever and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of Holiness. Notice that declared to be what? The Son of God with power according to the Spirit of Holiness. How? By the resurrection from the dead.

A brethren, they do not understand this. They will talk about being born again, of accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and going to heaven or even being on earth during the Millennial reign, but they do not understand the resurrection and the birth into the family of God. Following in Jesus's footsteps at the resurrection, we become spirit-born children of God. Now, notice we're in Romans. Look at Romans 8 and verse 11. Nothing could be clearer than this scripture. Romans 8 and verse 11.

But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead, we read from 1 Peter chapter 1 how that the Father raised Jesus from the dead. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, and we talked about you have the very essence, the very seed, the incorruptible seed of God in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you, by His Spirit that dwells in you. That's how He raises us from the dead.

Paul wrote to the Corinthians, telling them that they must not partake of the sins of the culture that they were immersed in. And in this he gives a brief summary of the sins the culture is immersed in. But let us, well, we'll go there. I'll just follow my notes instead of jumping track here. In 1 Corinthians 6 and verse 9. 1 Corinthians 6 verse 9. Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Be not deceived neither fornicators nor adulterers nor adulterers nor effeminate nor abusers of themselves with mankind, in other words, homosexuals, nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkards nor revilers or revelers, and no extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you, some of you. Now what does this show? This shows that you can overcome, that you can overcome whatever it is, but such were some of you. You're not forever banned to be there wherever you are in sin. But you are sanctified, set apart, but you are justified in the name of Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. So, once again, showing some of them came out of their sins. Whatever sin it is that the devil has devised and perpetuated upon the minds and hearts of men, it can be overcome. But see, this culture is fostering a way to circumvent, to get around. You know, we need to walk circumspectly and not circumvent and get around the very laws of God. California is considering passing a law, I don't think they pass it yet, that would make the state a haven, the safe haven state for sex change so that young people from all over the nation can come there. If Texas or Mississippi or one of those bad, bad, ignorant states passes such a law that you can come to California.

Now, let us get down to the very nitty-gritty of what the Bible actually says. We've said it in different ways, but how does the scripture say it? In Leviticus 20, verse 13. These are not my words, these are the words of God, these are the words of scripture.

Do you want to rewrite the Bible? Do you want to try to circumvent the scripture? Do you want to try to get around scripture? Do you want to pick and choose? Do you want to try to rationalize and say, oh well, but, yeah, buts, of course, a lot of people be in trouble.

In Genesis 20, verse 13, if a man also lie with mankind as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination, they shall surely be put to death, their blood shall be upon them. And we're going to talk about in the rest of this how God really views what's going on. And if a man take a wife and her mother, and if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness, they shall be burnt with fire, both because they were so wickedness, or to get rid of wickedness among you. If a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death, and you shall slay the beast. Bestiality, as they call it. And there, it has been said that in certain places, certain parts of the world, that women openly commit the sexual act with animals, and people pay to see it. It is an abomination. And if a woman approach into any beast, and lie down there and so on, the Scriptures are very clear on that. The commandments that God revealed to Moses are reiterated, and they are emphasized and expounded in Romans 1, 18 through 32. I don't know if we'll read all of it or not.

I'm determined to not, even though I'm out of gas, to keep on going and run on an empty tank.

What we have to say here in the last few minutes is very important. In Romans 1, 18, for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth. And actually, that whole means to hold back the truth and unrighteousness. We have had people in the church who hold back the truth and unrighteousness. They wouldn't say that, but they try to play the political game, whatever the political game is. There is no fame to be achieved in this world. You can achieve all the fame that can possibly be achieved in this world. Who would you say was the most famous person that ever lived? Well, some would say Jesus, and of course he is perhaps the most famous. Some might say Mahatma Gandhi, or some may say some other name. But none of that, except what Jesus did, is of any import when we face our Maker. Because that which was known by God as a manifest to them, for God had shown it unto them. Verse 22, professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things. So you see the various icons and things that people have worshipped from various civilizations through the years. Wherefore, God has given them up to uncleanness and through the lust of their own hearts to dishonor their own bodies between themselves, who changed the truth of God to a lie, worship, and serve the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. For this cause God gave them unto vile affections for even their women to change natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves a recompense of their doings which was fitting their error or doings.

In all probability, Paul, who wrote this, was sentenced to death by the homosexual Nero. The LGBTQ community, the Mennonites, and the vast majority of the U.S. population, do not agree with Paul and Moses. They would rewrite Scripture. They would change the culture.

And the culture is under attack, and it has basically been turned upside down in six months. The House of Representatives is considering a law that will preserve same-sex marriage and a law to preserve Roe v. Wade. I think they passed one of those, but it still has to pass a Senate, which probably won't happen. But the protests go on. So if we don't agree with the Scripture, we might as well throw the Bible away. To be sitting here today and not believe the word of God, why waste your time with that? Why would you be here? Why would you even remotely consider it? And to throw the Bible away is exactly the goal of the majority of the population.

In the Mennonite resolution, 56 percent of the delegates voted for the resolutions. The only two cities recorded in Scripture that God destroyed are Sodom and Gomorrah. Why did he destroy them? Because of their wickedness. You know the story of the two angels coming there. They appeared as men, and the men of the city gathered around, and demanded that Lot let them out so they might have sex with them.

But God intervened and blinded the men who were beating on the door. And then as Lot and his wife were leaving Sodom and Gomorrah, she looked back, turned to a pillar of salt, and God rained down fire and brimstone on Sodom and Gomorrah, and destroyed it because of its wickedness. He's going to destroy another city in much the same way at the end of this current evil age. He's going to rain down fire and brimstone on Satan's kingdom, on Satan's way.

Sodom and Gomorrah is a type of what he's going to do at the end of this age. That city that has yet to suffer the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah, that system. Look at Revelation 16 and verse 17. Revelation 16 verse 17. The seven vials of wrath are being poured out. Remember the seventh trumpet plague is divided into the seven vials of wrath. In Revelation 16 and 17. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air. There came a great voice out of the temple of heaven from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices and thunders and lightnings. There was a great earthquake, such as was not since men, who were upon the earth so mighty an earthquake so great. And the great city was divided into three parts. And the cities of the nations fell, and great Babylon came into remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talon. And men blasphemed God because of the plagues of the hail, for the plagues thereof was exceeding great. So Babylon was sunken, never to rise again. Now the beast system also burns Babylon. You look at Revelation 17-16. And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire. There are three distinct areas in scripture here. Revelation 16, 17, and 18 that deal with the destruction of Babylon in the final sense.

Verse 14 of Revelation 18. And the fruits of them the soul lusted that are departed from you, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from you, and you shall find them no more at all. The merchants of these things which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, because all of these riches are going to be destroyed. Verse 18. And they cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is likened to this great city? And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city wherein were made by the rich, had all their ships in the sea by reason of her coastlines, for in one hour is she made desolate. Verse 21. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, cast it in the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great Babylon be overthrown, and shall be found no more at all.

So the cities that God destroyed are cities that came under this LGBTQ woke agenda. He destroyed them. At the end of the age, that system, Satan's kingdom, will be destroyed forever. He will be locked for a thousand years, be loose for a little season, go out and deceive the nations, unbelievably, and try to destroy Jerusalem. But God will take care of him once again and destroy him.

So scripture makes it clear where the world is headed.

So to be forewarned is also to be forearmed, hopefully, that we do put on the whole armor of God as described in Ephesians 6, 12 through 18.

To be forewarned is to be forearmed with the power of God in his word.

It says, I have stated in this sermon, help you understand the challenge that lies before you so you will not be deceived, and the wickedness of our times. The parents of this day and age have a mighty struggle, a struggle that no one can even comprehend except they're there. I know people who have been there and are there. That is the struggle of having children who have been taken in. You love them dearly. You want the best for them. But you cannot compromise with sin.

So you love them. You try to do the best you can. And you never stop loving. God never throws us away until we rejected him. So, brethren, I hope we realize the seriousness of the times in which we live. And that we will heed all the messages that we're hearing, and we'll put them into practice.
