Loving your neighbor as yourself requires us to be resolute in understanding, kindness, gentleness, compassion, justice and mercy toward others. Proper spiritual vision is always looking to remove the beams in our own eyes, our character flaws, rather than focusing on and being critical of the flaws in others.
