The Bible tells us to examine ourselves before taking Passover, so that we won’t have an irreverent attitude towards God or the importance of this occasion. Sometimes we cannot see our sins very clearly; the Bible gives us examples of this, and shows that we should ask for God’s help. Reading and studying the Bible can also help us to see our sins and faults. We need to remember that God called us for an important mission in His Kingdom, so we need to walk worthy of our calling. The Passover is very important for us to keep, and in the right attitude. If we do not take part in the Passover, we won’t have a part with Him.
