A Sense of Urgency

When reading the Bible, there's a sense of urgency that jumps out at you. It’s everywhere in the scriptures. It’s up to us to embrace that sense of urgency and apply it on a day-to-day basis. We need to stay awake, always being ready to fight the spiritual war we are in. Let’s stay diligent, and let’s have a sense of urgency as we live our lives.

Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.  He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
