Servants of the Church

From the start of the Church, deacons and deaconesses were men and women ordained to take care of the congregation’s physical needs. There is always a need for more servants in the local congregation. Deacons and deaconesses make quite an impact by their faithful service. They are publicly ordained to serve the Church. They have already demonstrated their fitness for the role. They help provide stability and in the congregation. That helps the Church to grow.
