The Seventh Commandment: Faithfulness

The 7th commandment clearly says not to commit adultery, and its positive affirmation is faithfulness. In our physical marriages, male and female become one flesh, united in a holy covenant of marriage. Likewise, in our covenant relationship with God, we are one with Christ, united in the new covenant of Our Faith.
