Son of Man

In Matthew 26:64, Christ refers to Himself as the "Son of Man". Why did He refer to Himself that way? First we’ll look at this verse in context, then consider the phrase "Son of Man" throughout scripture. As we look at why this phrase was significant to those in Christ's time and why it's relevant for us today.

David Rains

David Rains is from western Massachusetts, and is married to his wife Kayla and has two children, a daughter and a son. His interests include woodworking, sports, and hiking. He currently lives in Murfreesboro, TN, as a ministerial trainee.

David Rains was born in Sublimity, Oregon and attended the Salem, Oregon church area for three years. He then moved to Virginia and then to Massachusetts. He is now a baptized member of the Worcester, Ma church area. He loves working with the youth in the church teaching them about God and helping them build a closer, personal relationship with Him. He was able to serve at a church camp in Brazil and also in Jamaica. He enjoys the piano and the great outdoors. David is the oldest of six children and is a senior in College studying Biology.
