This message reminds us that the Feast of Trumpets marks a pivotal point in God’s plan—a time symbolizing the return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the saints. Just as Israel heeded trumpet calls to prepare for movement or divine encounters, we too are called to ready ourselves spiritually for Christ’s return. As firstfruits, we must mature now, putting off the old self and growing into the new creation Christ intends, living in the light rather than the darkness. Complacency is a real danger, and we’re urged to cultivate urgency through self-examination, spiritual growth, vigilant watchfulness, and service. Christ is returning—whether we're ready or not—so let us be found faithful, armored, alert, and prepared to rise at the sound of the trumpet.
