Typically nation building refers to the process of constructing or structuring a national identity using the power of the state/country. We also have the opportunity to engage in some “nation building” – “SPIRITUAL nation building.” Let’s look at a how we can engage in spiritual nation building in our own congregations.

Nathan Ekama

Nathan Ekama grew up in Ohio and completed his undergraduate studies at Kent State University. He has a background in Sociology, Family Dynamics, and Statistical Analysis. Before being hired into the full-time ministry in 2015 he worked in the Energy Efficiency industry and prior to that, taught in university and primary education. Nathan currently serves as a Pastor in Central Illinois and Terre Haute, Indiana. Nathan and his wife, Jacqueline, have three children.
