The Spiritual Nature of God’s True Church

Centered on Matthew 16:18, where Jesus declares He will build His church on the rock of His identity, this message explores the spiritual essence of the true Church of God. Despite over 38,000 Christian denominations, the true church is a spiritual organism, not a human entity, defined by its commitment to authenticity and longing for oneness. Referencing Herbert Armstrong’s 1979 seven proofs—knowing God, His government, man’s purpose, Israel’s truth, the true gospel, the church’s role, and God’s Kingdom—the message emphasizes living these truths in love (2 Thessalonians 2:10). Scriptures like Ephesians 4:1-15, John 13:34-35, and Acts 2:42-47 highlight the church’s unity in truth and love, urging believers to discern the body of Christ as they prepare for Passover.
