Stand in the Gap

The Bible makes it clear that we are at war with Satan and we see in our nation a culture war that effects each of us in some ways. In the Old Testament history we see God's servants standing in the gap working to save God's people. In this sermon Mr. Smith looks at the examples set by men like Moses and Ezekiel. But at other times as Ezekiel 22:30 shows God looked to see if anyone among the leaders of Israel was trying to help in times of trial and he found no one doing so. Mr. Smith then asks us will we stand up against evil by the way we live our lives pointing us to Psalm 94:16 that Paul quotes in II Tim 4:7 where God asks "who will stand up for me against the evildoers?"
