Israel was unable to keep their their covenant with God. They lacked "sticking power" to keep their commitment. The power of God's Spirit is needed in each of us to keep our commitment, our covenant with God. We need the Holy Spirit in order to live God's law and keep His commands. This sermon was given on Pentecost.
