Strangers Living in a Strange Land

Pastor Bart Bornhorst speaks about how we are set apart from this world and are strangers living in a strange land.

Notes:

The world has a lustful spirit and desires satisfaction.  It is focused on physical things.

God made us alive through the giving of His spirit.  The lustful man desires to be satisfied.  How Moses named his two son is important to us today.

Exo. 18:1

We are to remain strangers in a strange land.  We are not different on our own, but because God has.

John 6:44

Eph. 1:

I Cor. 5:7 → We are to remain a stranger, purge out that leaven so that God can continue to work with us.

2.)  God will be our help throughout it all.

God has made us walk in a strange land.  Moses stated that our father will be there to help us.  God, our Father is Jesus Christ is with us daily.  That is our saving power and is our difference in our walk.

Matt. 28:19-20
