We live in very tumultuous times. Anxiety, depression, and uncertainty about the future plaque our society and as Christians, how do we deal with these issues? As unsettling as our present-day problems may seem, the current social unrest has been repeated many times throughout history. During the time of Jesus’s ministry, Palestine was under Roman rule and was under extreme unrest. Jesus’ message of the Kingdom of God was a practical guide for people on how to navigate those uncertain, tumultuous times and it applies to us today.
