This is the second in a series of messages examining the concept of the "Suffering Servant," as described in the book of Isaiah, chapters 42 through 53. Judaism interprets the Suffering Servant as an allegorical reference to the nation and people of Israel. Christianity believes that the Suffering Servant is prophetic of the life of Jesus and proof of His Messiahship.
