Putting sin out of our lives is the process of finding and removing individual sins. We are also instructed to come out of sin which is the process of overcoming the sinful environment of this world. God has called us to live at a higher standard than this world. God is bigger than any of problems of this world and He promises to help us thrive where we are if we look to Him for help.

Joe Greene

Joe has been a member of God’s Church since 1984.  He and his wife Brenda have spent their careers working with persons with disabilities of all ages.  Joe holds a Masters Degree in Education. Together, Joe and Brenda have been able to serve God’s people in Illinois, Wisconsin and now in Virginia.  Joe was ordained a local elder in April of 2011 and was hired by the United Church of God in 2023 to pastor the Richmond and Roanoke congregations in Virginia, along with serving as the Human Resource Manager for the Church.
