We need to consider what we can gain from these blessings and how we can use this information in our Christian walk. Daniel is an incredible example of living righteously in the midst of an evil empire, and he demonstrates that we can do likewise. We must never stop studying God's Word - we'll never know it all. Ultimately prophecy is to encourage us to have a changed life today.
