Troubled About Many Things

Life is full of care, and we can feel overwhelmed and heavily burdened at times. Jesus told his friend Martha that she was “worried and troubled about many things” (Luke 10:41). She was upset that her sister Mary was not helping her serve a meal. We must set our priorities straight and choose “that good part” as did Martha’s sister Mary, who sat at Christ’s feet to hear His word.

Andy Diemer is the pastor of the Fort Myers, Florida congregation and the associate pastor serving the congregations in Ft. Lauderdale and Vero Beach, Florida. He served as the pastor of the churches in New England from 2014 to 2021. He was baptized into the Church in 1981 and ordained as an elder in 2011. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Cleveland State University. He had a thirty-year career in manufacturing before being hired by the UCG in 2014.
