David Jones breaks down the song Imagine by John Lennon and how it often becomes a theme song heard during times like the coronavirus outbreak. The song describes a world of anarchy, or lawlessness, and reflects what much of entertainment and mankind, in general, perceives as the answer to world peace and freedom from oppression and authority. But is this true freedom? Much like the lesson given in the story Lord of the Flies, mankind ultimately destroys all that is good by putting themselves above God and His authority and law. Ultimately, though, it's God's salvation that provides the only true freedom.
