Throughout the Bible, there’s many prophecies that talk about horrific world events leading up to Jesus Christ’s return to this earth.  The Feast of Trumpets in part pictures the trumpet warnings that are given to mankind, with the hope that they would turn to Him and repent. Those of us who have been called, and are In Christ, we need to be sounding - and heeding - the trumpet warnings.  And we also look forward to when Jesus Christ will return, to usher in the Time of Gladness!

Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.  He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
