How important is truth?  How important is truth to you?  It doesn’t matter whether or not you are in God’s church.  When you converse with someone you hope you are giving the truth to them and them to you.  We do have a 9th commandment “Thou Shall Not Lie”.  We should take to this both in heart and mind.  What does God say about the prohibition on lying and how important it is to him that we not lie?  How much lying is in our world today in both the media, world events and close to home?

William Vernich

Bill Vernich was an elder who served the United Church of God congregations in Nashville and Jackson, TN as well as Bowling Green, KY. He was a graduate of Miami University (Ohio) with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and Merchandising. He and his wife Carol have five children and eight grandchildren. They were baptized in 1972 and he was ordained an elder in 1984.
