The Trinity is a defining doctrine of Christianity in almost all of its forms. This message, the first in a three-part series, reviews the United Church of God's doctrinal position on the nature of God with respect to monotheism, trinitarianism and the relationship between the Father and His Son. Recent theological research is examined, highlighting an aspect of that research which refutes one of the pillars of the trinitarian concept.
