Understanding the Deep Meaning of the Day of Atonement
The Day of Atonement was a Special Occasion each year by instruction from Almighty Eternal God. Moses was delivered specific instructions on how to handle two goats during the holy day. It is with the passage of time and the writings of several New Testament authors we gain the meaning of these goats. One is for us as a reminder that Jesus Christ, our Savior gave his blood for our reconciliation to the Father. The second represents the removal of humanity’s arch enemy, Satan, thereby removing the heavy accusatory influence humanity and the creation have suffered for millennia.
