The introduction to the Kingdom of God was first stated by John the Baptist and included repentance. Jesus immediately followed with the same theme. The good news of the kingdom is an actual Kingdom that includes salvation. This concept has been overlooked by modern Christianity. This Kingdom must have 1. A King. 2. Territory. 3. Subjects. 4. A structure of laws. In the Lord's prayer Jesus said, "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heave" (Matt. 6: 9-13). We are told to "…seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness…" (Matt. 6: 33). Our challenge is to live now in the terms and conditions of that coming Kingdom.
