Why Doesn't God Cut Us Off?

Israel was told that if they ate leavened bread during Unleavened Bread - that they would be cut off! Symbolically, we all have the leavening of sin in our lives. How can God justify not cutting us off from Him and His glory? Will we be able to make it into His Kingdom?
